What Tottenham need, is to stop trying to be like Arsenal. THAT HAS BEEN THE KEY TO their FAILURES. Always trying to do stuff to rival Arsenal, (Now heard they want to extend their Stadia Lips sealed)

Nice article here, and i agreed with all M Palmer says;

http://www.arsenalnewsreview.co.uk/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=714&cntnt01origid=30&cntnt01returnid=42

Like Oga V said, signing players does not mean sh@t!! the players have to perform, and Spurs's players are letting their Gaffer down Embarrassed (Maybe just wearing the Spurs jersey turns you into sh@t Grin Grin).

I see no change for them, even if they hire Fabio Cappello, the ideals of the club is still the same; " DO BETTER THAN ARSENAL". Until that mentality changes among their Fans and Board, NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE!!

Riquelme or not (I doubt Riquelme will even make it in the Prem, he won't last 4 games, esp against teams like Bolton, Blackburn and co Grin).

Spurs expand their ground? Shocked Shocked Shocked who will fill it up? Grin

There was a time West ham had a promotion in which kids paid £1 to get into the ground. Maybe Spurs may want to try something similar first Grin Grin Grin

A tree cannot make a forest.

Football is a team sport, adding Riquelme to Tottenham is not enough to make them a top 4 side.
They need an injection of at least 3 more class players  to improve their lot.

Some trees do make forests oh . . . .  and besides, spurs have enough good players in 'em to make a difference. . . .  Martin Jol is just not a good enough manager!

I don't get this idea of Arsenal fans calling Manchester United scum on this thread.

For Arsenal scum is Tottenham

For Liverpool scum is Manchester United with Everton as secondary scum

scum is usually your local rivals except in certain well established rivallaries like Liverpool and Manchester United

It"s a shame that at this age some
ref favor some club in decision makin. Embarrassed
take for instance the decision made by
referee Styles to penalise Steve Finnan
for a challenge on Malouda.
which gave blues the equalizing goal.
in our own case a clear penalty was disallowed.
i love the way we played yesterday, hey have proved
they can compete with the Premier League's 'big four.

Ironically enough, it was at the same end of the ground
that Pedro Mendes was denied a winning goal back in
the 2004-05 season.
wetin dey do this refs.

M.Jol didn't particularly get it spot on in terms of tactics against Arsenal but his team selection was good to a point. . . .  expecially the inclusion of Huddlestone ahead of Zokora; but he should have 2nd tho'ts about leaving Defoe on the bench. . . . .  Give Defoe 1 of the chances Berba and Bent had; might be a different story all together! All in all, his strikers let him down on the evening and in a sense, still saved his scalp c'uz he's absolved off blame 4 this loss to the GUNNERS. . . . .  well, contrary to speculations, M.Jol lives to fight 4 another month!
