...God helped so many people in the Bible why not now may be God is coming soon or maybe he allows it to happen to teach people lessons but I still ask why does God keep silent? especially in times like these when we need him most a friend told me nothing happens without his approval but what do you really think.
A pastor should please say something in the forum to encourage we younger ones. God answers every prayer...sometimes Yes, sometimes No, sometimes be patient...but our prayer should always be that His will be done because He knows the ending and knows what needs to happen to get us there... and yes, I believe it is nearer and nearer...even at the door!! Isa 55:6-11 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Talking of corrpution and poverty, prayers alone cannot solve anything. If we keep praying and fasting for corruption to be eliminated in the country without taking any steps towards eliminating it, the prayer is as good as useless. HEAVEN HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES. |

God helps you, only if you are ready to help yourself. Most Nigerians only wish for better things. Very few are willing to work towards the better things. That's why our nation is how it is today.

Let me get between this disagreement with this: praying and fasting Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Prayer is great!!! but the flesh profits nothing and fasting in the flesh will profit nothing. Starving your flesh of food and drink will profit nothing. God's fast is quit talking and do some listening!!! Fast (give up) talking and be silent and listen for His Words to you He is a gracious God and will not interrupt your many words...sit down and hear.... Lu 10:38-42 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. Hello my elect brothers and Sisters,
By now I can see that most of you are feeling something is wrong with Nigeria. Yes! It is true. I am not a pastor(I'll never be) but I can tell you one or two thing about Nigeria and the present problem we are facing.
Justice is about to come to the son of man. Our Lord Jesus is preparing to perfect the whole world.
Nigeria is located where sin and injustice first started that is the reason it is very difficult for us to proper in the land of our heritage. It was our ancestors that started the universe. Nigeria most especially the southerners formed the long described nation Israel in the Bible of the christian and koran of the muslim.
Lamurudu/Nimrod/Namrud was one of those who challenged the God of heaven. Abraham/Avram was our own ancestor and the one who was wise enough to follow the footsteps of The Almighty God. His descendant(original) live in the southern part of Nigeria today. The tribe and son of Nimrod/Namrud/Lamurudu has been wiped out by our father Abraham. So we can not be descedant of dead king. I don't know the real name of Abraham may be he was Oduduwa, nobody knows
They have decieved us and changed the story of our ancestor. It was Almighty God and the Holy One of Our ancestor that allowed our history to be robbed and plundered. Most people in the world are claiming the source of civilization but I want you from today to stop joining the fools. Our Lord Yashua/Yeshua/Jesus or what His name was then warned us that we should not associate with the world. The world is the foolishness and fables of mankind not the way people dress.

What you see in Jet Li movies that are film trick are the way our ancestors fought in war. One man was equal to 1000. They could fly and run faster than car(Naphtal son of Abraham) They could scream and destroy a whole city(Judah son of Abraham) They could resit 200 men(Judah son of Abraham).
We found it, the history of our ancestors and the whole planet. The story can not be told now. Until its appointed time.
This is a time for us to unite so that The Lord can restore our inheritance. Most especially the Yorubas,Ibos,Benins and all the state at the southern part of Nigeria. The Biafra should keep silent, the odua should drop their juju practice.
God prophesies in Isaiah 44 that the people of Israel will still be worshiping God of wood till the time of their of their reformation because they are unwise and foolish. The present Israel does not have any history of wooden idol worshiping. They can add it to their culture so that they fool wise people of our land. This is the time to pray for God protection in where ever you go because devil is waging war against us.(oju boro ko la fi ng gbomo lowo ekuro)
When you read in the bible about The elect nation, The choosen generation, The royal priesthood, it is not refering to the whole born again as christian assert but the nation Israel the black race that has the leniage of Abraham in their blodd.
The time of our affliction will soon over. Nigeria nation will soon become the nation called after God. allah will be wiped out and his demons, all idol worshiping will cease and The name of God/Eloim/El-Shadai/Eledumare and His only Son Yashua/Yeshua/Jesus will be procalimed and The Holy Spirit will fill our heart with wisdom with the Spirit of God poured on us as prophesied in the oracle according to Joel. Cure will be found for incurable disease(Jer 30:12) fighting our nation and our neighbors. There will be no more hunger. Nigeria will be transforned become more beautiful than the first Eden located formerly on our soil
All roads will lead to Nigeria[i][/i]
Be prepared. Christians rededicate your life to Jesus, muslims stop following the religion our fathers did not know and become born again, traditional worshipers look toward Abraham our Father and Sarah that beget us and stope been foolish following after abomination which Eledumare despice. Obey the laws of God and do His will withe ease given by HIS Son Jesus.

We all came into this world through birth and the only way out of the world is by death and it can come in any way or form we can't do nothing about it. Thats why we all need to be prepared at all time just incase the bell rings.
We think we can do God's job or tell him how to do it, but we don't remember how small we are in the scheme of creation to influence the will of God.
I will also like to point out that God is not silent, God speak all the time and only those who shut up and listen hears him and these are the people who make better decisions in life......

You ask, "Why would an all-loving, all-knowing God allow people to experience pain and suffering?" Pain is a problem because our finite, human minds selfishly believe that pain-free lives would prove that God loves us.
I am not arguing that pain is not painful. Pain hurts. I am only trying to show that the old Christian doctrine that being made perfect through suffering is not incredible. To prove it palatable is beyond my design. We are reminded that we are not the center of the universe and that suffering is God's will in preparing the believer for heaven and for the full weight of glory that awaits him there. Many of us naively wish that God had designed a "less glorious and less arduous destiny".

You also fast from food a nd drink as that also tends to take our attention form God.
Fasting dosnt affectm God...it affects us. We fast so as to be spritually alert to hear God clearly.
When this happens, there is an unusall release of His grace and power.
Fasting is also an art of worship and sacrifice to GOD.

God does not keep silent. His holy spirit is the guide, the speaker, the advicer etc. Its only if you open your heart to Jesus that God's holy spirit will live in you and speak to you (Through people, through dreams, directly to you, through books etc.) I think the subject should be why God does not talk directly to the world. The answer for that is that life is a test, a test to see if we are worthy enough to be in heaven with the Body in Heaven, to see if we can overcome temptations. Originally i don't think God intended the world to be like this but because he is mighty God he has the power to turn the devils nasty work into Good work. The talk God has with the world is the Bible. If you read the Bible you will see Gods word. Its amazing,
