C100 can't get the settings for gprs; it can only get CSD which is the dial-up method of browsing, sorry!!!

Hey peeps! I used to get online with my phone up till last week, even after the 25th jan deadline. though, i believe i still should be able to get online because my phone still recognizes a gprs access point, the G still displays on the screen, but when i try to go online i get an error message saying "invalid GPRS access point", my guess is theyve changed the acces point name (APN) and maybe some other things too. from this thread it seems there some of us thats got these new settings already, so please if anyones got it, be a good sport and share with us all, or better still u could mail it to me at this addy ( aro20@hotmail.com) bless! |

I never said nothin bout post paid subscribing i guess that was someone else on the forum, if your intrested in being one though u could go over to any of the celtel offices. am sure they'll be able to help out! am a prepaid subsciber though and like i said earlier i was still able to get online after the deadline just up till last week! am actually just intrested in the new celtel wap/gprs settings if theres any.

now, Here is newest celtel setting, its d old one,yeah,d old one, just delete d apn(access point name) and make it blank that is, d former was wap(right?) delete n make it blank,if it doest wrk,send me com warrior virus(thats if it u browsed with your sim before d dead line) n by d way,d port no is now 8080,good luck n more of u on naira land

The browsing is being used at the moment officially by post-paid users. You will need to fill a form for the post paid lines but u need to have an account that shows evidence of income to get it.
Meanwhile the APN has actually changed, some other things as well. so pre paid users wont get it though.
Those saying they still browse are blatant liars!! If u are browsing, post the new APN on this thread or u can as well burn in hell or do something more interesting like set fire on your balls
because u have balls feeling important on this thread

Am back on, the celtel stuff still works, thats for we a selected few!, lol, am not sharing, funny thing is if you search nairaland pretty well, u'll find it!, u know the coolest thing now?, its so much faster because all you awoofians aint on it no more!
