We each have a pretty good idea what we think love is. Educate us, what does love mean to u?

The bible is very explicit in this topic for it says in 1 cor 13: 1-8 (NIV) "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails"

I get what d Bible says, in fact i can read that passage by heart, but what is your own definition of love? What do u feel when u tell someone that u love them? What goes through your mind when u tell someone that u love them? We each have our deinition of what love is, or what it should be, wats urs?

I know what love is amongst family and it's exactly what KAD posted, I have no clue what love is amongst 2 random individuals who got to talking and like each other. I insist that it does not exist rather what exists is some sort of emotional and physical attachment which gradually wears out after a certain period of time, if individuals are strong willed then they can keep it together. If they're weak, then we experience the high divorce rates. End of story!

my own definition of love is trust, care, affection, sharing, praying for each other, always wanting the best of each other. But it alll boils down to trust, honesty, sincere atttitude/approach to things not hate ,anger, greed, selflove, pity.
