I bought kaspersky 2009 internet security from Walmat, it requested the removal of all other anti virus from my laptop before installation and activation which I did. After installation and update, I scanned my laptop, this software detected long list of threats most of which it tagged very dangerous but when I asked it to disinfect it it was unable to disinfect or delete them ,instead it recommended "skip"  for  most of the threats, please advise on what I can do to remove the threats.

My otherlap top "SHIFT" bottoms stopped working, I was using it with onscreen but now it is unable to connect to Internet it would not even see
any network either wired or wireless, please advise how to resolve these issues.

@dimco next time your pc comes up 1)press crtl+alt+del so that your taskmanager comes up then 2)click on the processes tab, 3)scroll down the list of processes till you see explorer.exe then  select it and 4)click on end process, in the dialog that comes up select yes . 5) after that click on the menu file - > new task (Run) and in the box that comes up type explorer and press enter, that should fix your problem. (p.s. if you didn't see explorer.exe in step 3 then go staight to step 5)

Nice one. installing regcure can delete some icons  similar to when you disk clean up. ok , try clicking start, all programmes, accessories, system tool

and system restore. This will take the system back to when it was working. Good luck

I take is Microsoft office not Windows itself ? well, the question is how did you install the package ? through the internet, CD ?

If by disk then there should be a product key at the back of your CD sleeve. if download from the internet then you need

to visit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/whyvalidate.aspx?displaylang=en        Good luck

Thanks deji2009 but I do not intend to remove the kaspersky software, the issues is that, this software would not remove or disinfect detected threats after scan, instead it recommended "skip" for most of the threats most of which were tagged very dangerous, please advise on what I can do to remove the threats.

If the laptop is new, then the office has not yet been activated. Normally it comes with license for about 90days trial befor you are requested to purchase another license. All you need to do is to go to programs, click on microsoft office, click of activation assistance (note that the pc should  be online before you can do this). click on the link, a product key would be given to you from the portal. copy this key and paste it in the request box which pops up after you have open ms-word.
