Problem Pasting Google Adsense Code

Good day naijas, pls can anyone help me on how to paste the adsense code on my blogspot. After creating my blog, i set up my blog code at www.google.com/adsense/adsense-products but after coping the code, i clicked on edit menu on my blog web but paste command is not active. so no google advert has yet appear on my blog.

Sine you are using the blogspot, click on "layout", then make sure you are at "page element". Then, click on "Add a Gadget", then click on "Adsense".

I hope this works.

I did mine, the way you did yours, but I cannot really remember what I did and then I found this method, so I hope it works.
