Hello all,
Can anyone recommend a good book that can teach me how to create great UI / custom graphics with the effects and features in Photoshop?

hi, from a quite" experienced" designer, i'll tell u no books would not be d way out of exposing urself to creativity. most books teaching ui design nd other design peripheral r outdated nd only teach basic stuff using the author's own methods, mi advice wuld b to use online tutorials from sites such as , psdtuts,kirupa, design o blog, designfuit, gomedia e.t.c, i'll let u a secret .chek out creattica .com for inspiration, it doesn't get beta dan dat site, criously. u can add me on yahoo mssng, gadskid4u@yahoo.com, lots of luck |

i will say practice n online tutorials. lol i don't have photoshop anymore becausei downloaded bootleg copy online n deleted it off my pc since it was taking too much space (foolish me i was young. lol) but it was fun playing with though. u don't need books to learn it. just online tutorials n there r plenty of them out there. just type it in google  |

am not a graphic person. like i said, i only used photoship for fun. very amateurish stuff like that. i was just offering advice to OP that he can find tons of tutorials online n doesn't need to get a book. lol u can check gaminechic though. she's pretty good with graphics. Tnks Oyinda bt i wl like 2 get d software.
u can download it off ares or p2p programs. getting the code can be a hassle though but very doable. that's how i got mine but it's gone now like i said. |

Go to adobe.com and download tria version for free, other than that i cant see how you expect to get the full version for free if you really need it then why not pay for it. |
