By the way you didn't answer my Question . What has Mbeki living outside the country got to do with his style of presidency. You accuse him of trying to appease the outside world when in fact he recognised the necessity of a Global market and understood its workings which is why he implemented some the policies during his time which undoubtedly created a vehicle for the growth of the middle class in SA, created good economic relations with Brazil , China and india, although there were problems with the huge number of unskilled citizenry problem which is not an easy situation to resolve.

Mr Mbeki was as close to SA as he could possibly get without getting killed having bases in Botswana, Lusaka, and even spending time in Nigeria so to me he is a more well rounded individual in terms of policy decisions  and understood the macro economic issues as opposed to micro issues.

Comparing Mbeki to Zuma is like comparing Obama to George bush. One is more well rounded and exposed than the other who serves  the old school conservative class of his society.

see misinformation, how did you come about Nigeria having the highest number of HIV victims? the last update i heard was 3.5million out of 150million Nigerians to more than 5million our of 40million south africans,  so try to type facts and not just trying to type something because you want to.

Not about touching nerve, its about mis-informing pple about HIV figure in Nigeria, yes we all need to be careful, but give accurate imformation.

this is where lies the problem in Africa, people trying to figure out where the percentage of Aids is greater (like as if it made any difference)
who cares where there is the biggest percentage of AIDS? the message that people should try to understand is to PROTECT oneself at all times even more so with strangers or unfamiliar people.

I`m South African and what you are saying is completely false, I personally do not have a single female friend or anybody I have ever known who has died or is dying of HIV/Aids, so I would like to think it all depends on the type of people you hang around with.
Most West Africans go to Hillbrow,Berea and Yeoville the minute they arrive in SA, which are the most dangerous HIV infested places in johannesburg if not South Africa,And mind you Nigerians or rather most west African men go crazythe first time they arrive here and  see the asses here coz in these parts women got a lot of ass,so they act reckless and then blame it on SA girls. I mean why on earth would a person have unprotected sex with a woman in Hillbrow, those girls are living in porverty and will do anything for a buck, they work as cashiers during the day and prostitute at night and there you go just putting your member in places. Well Mr phillip0609 Don't be lying to yourself thinking HIV is more rampant in SA than any other
African state, because the thing is, most African countries don't even have the resources to count their
HIV victims so you cant exactly compare us with every other African countries that don't even have proper
statistics as to who is infected and who is not.
According to the government up to 50 000 Zimbabwean enter the SA border everyday, not counting all other Africans who have entered.
So i would like to think the fact that there are so many people from all walks of life making a living here would increase HIV in the densely populated areas as well as white tourist who like the Durban and Cape town so they can do their paedophilia activities there(that's a story for another day) all these people bring their own diseases and strands of HIV,and people like the Ghanaian man pick it up and continues spreading
so in short I don't like these Idea of labeling SA women as if, other African women are any better. I`ve been to Tanzania and the women there were ambushing my male friends for sex but SA has more HIV that Tanzania apparently.
