sjeezy8,
Hello jare my brother.
Don't mind that guy. He signed Ojukwu and Effiong are my hero at the bottom of his name, I doubt much if he knows the difference between the two people.
If I paste what Effiong said about Ojukwu here he would change his username to become a Yorubaman Grin.

And for his information, Yoruba in Kwara and Kogi states have never denied being a Yoruba. People with Yoruba names have been ruling the states from time in memorial. The Hausa pseudo-influence there is cosmetic which will soon fiddle out. Sunday Awoniyi has died, one out of two traitor has gone, very soon the remaining one will start lossing his grip on as people cannot be fooled for ever, then Yoruba will be a nation and people to reckon with in Nigeria context. By the time we get the Ijaw on our side, everything done finish be that
WE YORUBA IS NIGERIA  Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin Grin Cool, And let no one  Cry O!

But why did you have to call me fool for enlighten you? lol

You see, this is the problem with you Biafran baby boom. You woke up one day, someone called you and told you all the good side of defunct Biafra Republic and the Federal Republic of Nigeria and without asking questions or go and learn more, you put it your thick head and start having fantasy over what would had happened if had been allowed to have your sunset abi na sunshine republic. You start calling people who made you a Nigerian (which you are carrying it's green passport) names.

Please don't call Effiong a Biafra leaderas he mighy sue your damages.

I don't know if anyone has seen it, but this was a really nice website Philip Effiong's son (Philip Effiong II) made in tribute to him and a bit of a bio of himself. This is a really cool scarf from his Biafra Gallery:

But sorry for the derail, you guys should continue with your fighting.

How can you say this about a nation's leader? This shows the hatred this people have for the Yoruba

Who is the East that are being prevented from taking harder stand against the bastards like you by the older generation? Answer that please.

You see, people like you are the ones attracting insults to the tribe. Who doesn't know what you meant by saying this or what is the harder stand you want to take aginst people speaking their minds in a public forum like this.
Apart from exchanging issues with you did I or any Yoruba ever threating you with 'harder stand?
When you said this about 3 weeks ago, I said straight away that, you should start killing the Yoruba and see if it will change anything in Nigeria. So, start your harder stand, by start killing all those replying to your bigotry or back stabbing

It seems that your ignorance does not know boundaries? If you have decided to match to your grave with load of stupidity, you can do so with the people of your stock. I shall advice you to decease from overreaching manipulation to swell the poor looking numbers of Yoruba self-arrogated outspokenness with the good people from other ethnicity. What a shame?

Fool!! . . . What you see happening in Anambra is called DEMOCRACY. . . .
Anambra is not Yoruba land (ekiti et al  ) where there politics are mared with assasinations and thuggery. . . . and thats the sole reason why people are scared from contesting for elective positions over there.

The Nigerian government, useless then and useless still, failed in their duty to protect Nigerians in harms way. That failure has continued to every other facet of national life.

For the ignorant Ibos on the Nairaland, here are the facts from pan-Igbo socio-cultural organization- Ohanaeze- (Chief Raph Uwechue) that Yoruba people/ nation is NOT your enemy and you should please LEAVE US ALONE. And if you want apology not amnesty- as suggested by Bluetooth-you should go and ask the man who dragged you into unnecessary war not Yoruba people/nation or Nigeria.

The elder statesman said, in the book, that Ojukwu was ambitious and, therefore, paid attention only to the “politics of the war” instead of the security of the people he led. He said that owing to Ojukwu’s interest, two wars were fought with the territory of Biafra then: “The first was for the survival of the Ibos as a race. The second was for the survival of Ojukwu’s leadership.” He said that Ojukwu was more interested in the survival of his leadership at that time, which, he said: “Proved fatal for the Ibos” during the war.

"It is a sad but instructive irony that Lt. Col Odumegwu Ojukwu, one of Africa’s one-time most brilliant political promises, was the man that led his own people with such a lack of ingenuity into what was clearly a foreseeable disaster.”

On Yoruba and Ibos
Up until the eve of the civil war, Nigerian politics were dominated by the three big tribes: the Hausa-Fulani of the North, the Ibos of the East and the Yorubas of the West. In this triangular fight, the key to victory was the combination of any two sides. It did not matter which two.
Yoruba people / nation were always in alliance/solidarity with the Ibos and Eastern region before the war.
"When the counter-coup of July 1966, which brought General (Yakubu) Gowon to power occurred, the spirit of that solidarity was still high. The coup itself not only killed the Eastern Ibo leader, General (Johnson Thomas) Ironsi, but also the popular Yoruba military governor of Western Nigeria, Lt. Col. Adekunle Fajuyi. In this setting, it was clear that the Yorubas of the West were potentially more inclined to ally with the Ibos of the East against the power of the North from which both had suffered so recently"

The Ohanaeze chieftain said that if Ojukwu were smart enough to understand the politics of alliances in the country, Biafra could have survived. According to him, there was an opportunity for Ojukwu to align with the Western Region then, but he did not see the necessity for that. He said that this opportunity came when the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was released from prison by General Yakubu Gowon and he declared: If “the Eastern Region was pushed out of the federation, Western Nigeria would quit the federation as well.” According to him, Ojukwu should have taken that declaration as a cue and wooed the Western Region
(He did not, but stupidly and arrogantly disrespect the leader of one of the sophisticated tribe/black nation in Africa. And for your information, Ojukwu did NOT released our leader Chief Awolowo from prison; Gowon did. )
