My hp compaq 6735s lasts for between 2hrs to 2.5hrs on hp optimised battery plan, but to me thats not acceptable.

I bought it in January!
I use to have an ACER laptop that the battery last for 4 hours; I should have stick to Acer

I use a dell inspiron 1525 for about a year now nd ma battery lasts approx 2hrs 50mins. Although it all depends on wat your doin, like if am watchin a movie or playin a game, it shows me abt. 2hrs 30mins left but other less tasking stuff it could stay almost 3 hrs. I recently bought a new battery for my compaq nx9030, and it lasted for just a couple of months. bin thinking about buying Acer's 8 battery wonder, just wandering if anybody here uses it.

Laptop Battery. Yes! this is one of the thing that worries laptop owners. My Laptop battery last approximately 2hour 30mins. Battery is a cell therefore it require your optimum maintenance for high efficiency. Laptop battery is something that must be handle withe care and not misussing it. Always charge your laptop battery with original recommended chargers only. Why? because rcommended charger input your battery with charges on manufacturer standard, therefore using non recommended chargers may likely weaken your battery each time you plug such charger to your laptop for charging. Also, some laptop users are fun of using their battery to to a zero level charge, please avoid this for battery safety and efficiency. I use a Dell Inspiron 1545 (genius). It's just 2 months old, but the battery lasts just over an hour. Actually I did not charge it before first use, My bad,  bros no be only u ooo, its not cos u didnt charge it, use the same machine, the battery power is poor cos its a 4 cell battery, i wan to upgrade toa 6 or 8 cell dat should defn increase battery life |

actually, the duration of your battery depends on the kind of program u are running when on battery. The average time for working on batteries is 2hrs.
The micro-processor generates heat, the greater the calculation it does the more heat it generates. The battery is the power source for all the heat. so what do you think?
Use only batteries when there are no alternatives.

I use a Dell lat c600.and i got three batterys.
One lasts two minutes.
The other,as at when i got it lasts an hour but now 30mins.
While the third lasts 2.30hrs.
I combine the second and third battery cos the laptop has identical slots for battery and cdrom .
I also got this neefiti little app called battery doubler,that helps up my battery time. Now i see a total of 3.10hrs.
The app is a trial by usage but u can get the patch of it with a torrent.

Bro,Please how do you use your battery doubler to increase your battery life,Mine does not seem to work at all.
My battery lasts 1,20mins tops even with d battery doubler installed,its still d same 1,20mins,abeg which magic u dey use for am.
Plz expantiate
