Hi guys, just thought i would share some info i found on the net. If you are abroad and find it difficult to send text messages to cellphones in Nigeria or anywhere in Africa, you can use this site called http://www.text-africa.com, they only charge 7p and you get free messages when you sign up. This has been a massive saving for me, because i used to text my mother and friends for 20p per message using UK networks and my friends in the US get charged $0.50. Text-Africa.com is a reliable service with instant delivery, unlike some free sms websites that just 'claim' but never deliver! Also when i registered text-africa.com gave me the option to register my own mobile phone number with their service, so that all text messages sent from my account are sent with my phone number as the sender so that my recipients like my friends and my mother etc can send their replies directly to me, how cool is that? I think we need to be very careful whilst reading information, otherwise one will end up sending the wrong information out into the public domain. First you need to understand that NETICASH is a service that allows SELLERS to collect money from BUYERS online. Now if that is what you want to do, THEN YOU WILL NEED TO LOAD YOUR ACCOUNT. I think i should say something good about neticash.com because i have been using it for the cost of nothing. Its really cool and the registration is fine but you cannot send more than 130 xracters @ a time though i think 2 messages should be combined in that case but its not allowed.
What i donot understand about neticash.com is sending money to Nigeria, i realise the money would be collected @ STB but i don't know how to go about it & 1 more thing u cannot buy credit @ some crucial time all u see is "your recharge is not successful"
NETICASH please explain because i'm convinced that your service is cool & up to date

There is no such thing as a free sms service that works. They all ask you to register and once they have all your information they inform you that you have to put money into your account or that the Country you are trying to sms is not accepted by their network.
sms.ac and all the others are worse than scammers and don't waste your time. The disgusting thing is that sms was never seen as a business by the networks and was free at the beginning. Once everybody started to use it a it was cheaper than the astronomical call rate, they hiked up the prices and started to ban access to all the free sms gateways.
The mobile phone companies are one of the biggest Mafias in the World!
If you want to send sms, you are going to have to pay!

Watchout for SMS.ac. They will start to send you premium messages, unless you go into your settings to opt out of all those services. Each premium message is $0.50.

It does not matter if there is a cheaper one, fact is that cheaper one is not going to attract all 200 million + it literate Nigerians, it is a matter of good marketing and internet domination as to who gets the customers, just 200 active customers at Text-Nigeria makes it very healthy and lucrative.
