    but i met smone recently(a guy) who was like , all the
  Edo girls hes ever met were reli fine and cream,tush
  if i may say, nice and friendly, it was nice to knoe people
   still have positive vibes about us

are you serious?.every tribe has stereotype about them,don,t worried yourself about people lack of knowledge . the funniest thing is when  people called us benin people.edo has 4 different tribe.what are you a estako?

u don't have to be annoyed with yourself. You know yourself and that is final. let anybody say anything. and why not?people will talk. always. I am Ibo. I schooled in Unical. there they dread Ibos. they say we are bad. we were treated badly. but i know myself. i'm disciplined and moral. with time people will know u. then they come to u to say hey u are very different from other ibos. i'll tell them -well i'm ibo-born and bred. they wont know what to say.

now i'm in UK. people come to me and say hey, are u nigerian. I say yes. they say,well u are different from other nigerians I know. and I say, well, I'm nigerian born and bred. in nigeria people hate ibos, in the UK even fellow africans dread nigerians. but let me tell you, when they see u are good, they can't resist u. why? b/c You are great. You know yourself. You are not a prostitute. don't let what people say determine how You feel b/c people talk trash. believe me.

in nigeria, ibos say, calabar people are terrible and whorish. i met decent girls in Unical. Efiks. our people say bini people are terrible and too fetish. well, my best friend in cardiff is from edo state. a great guy. so be yourself and hey, u got a great photo in ya profile. hmmn, how old are u?

u mean there are more than one tribe among the people we call bini people.just like the people we call calabar people. i never knew there were many tribes in cross-river state and akwa ibom state.

toshman,people that don,t know better called edo bini people.edo state has four tribe, bini people are people from bini and round bini.you have ishan people like myself,estako ,and ako-ko edo people.

 

briafa people need to leave edo alone.worry about your issues and your untruest leaders of  your states.

i ThankGod we have a forum.wa doo.so mys siters then dey here.am proud to be an Edo boy.am from esan -west.as in ekpoma but i grew up in lagos been there just 3 times.any am proud to me one.hello all edo staters.better governor for 2007.lucky is a wacko.with his mustache.any way still proud to be.edobabe how far.gamine .kara.on e gbe.am happy to see my own are here.

Always be proud of who you are and where you come from - there is good and bad in every tribe and in all honestly it has more to do with individuals rather than mass population personalities!

No matter what the world thinks about Edo, I'm proud and blessed to be an Esan girl.

Edo people, boy or girl aint bad.I have schooled and met some nice Dudes. people from Ibanke, Auchi etc. Whatever stuff people associate with them  is definately not unconnected to the neglect we all  have suffered from the hands of our uncaring politicians and governments.
