Having Problem Joining Husband Abroad
« on: November 15, 2006, 09:31 PM »

I have a friend who got married to someone in the USA. She dated the boy friend before he traveled; the marriage was done in the guy’s absent because both families know each other during their friendship.

The husband has not gotten his green card yet much more having citizenship to enable him invite the wife over.

The husband has a brother that works with an Oil company and most times travels abroad to work officially.  It was an intended project in the USA that sealed the marriage plans as the brother in law intended traveling with her as his second wife to the USA for the project. Unfortunately for them, the project was changed to Paris and as such all plans of traveling to the states changed. My girl friend got schegen visa through the project in Paris but did not use the visa.

She applied to the USA embassy on visit with the unused visa believing that God will do miracle since she has disvirgined her passport by traveling to Ghana and with the one year unused schegen visa but unfortunately, American embassy denied her visa.

She got another one year schegen visa and then decided to travel with the visa as she had a rotary function in the USA that the Rotarians were planning for but was also denied visa even after traveling to Paris/Netherlands with the reason that she has not traveled enough though many of her club members were denied visa too because the first clubs that went for the visa abused the privilege given to Rotarians on this trip.

She then got admission with a Canadian school as another approach to travel to USA through Canada but was denied visa even after paying school fees. They gave a reason that she will end up not coming back since she is the second wife and does not have any issue which is a mistake she made by not indicating that she has a baby to show as a tie.

Now, my girl friend tends to travel to UK to at least do her MSC there and also try her luck but was faced with another complicated issue. Last year, the brother in law that she uses as her husband reapplied for work permit visa without including her name as the second wife because they were sure that the Canadian embassy will issue her visa.

The complicated case now is that she cannot apply again to the UK embassy stating that she is the second wife since her name was not included last year to avoid raising any suspicion at the embassy. She also needs to use the husband name to apply for student visa in UK as she still intend visiting the USA, remember she did thumb printing at the USA embassy and can be traced from anywhere.

The brother in law who she uses as her husband is also her sponsor.

She has spent 4yrs being separated from the fiancée and as God will have it, the fiancée has been faithful and even refused to marry white for his papers hoping that one day he will get his papers through other means.
