For the man that had 2m and went to buy Afribank - WRONG CHOICE.
Dump them now or you may be left with penny stocks very soon. Also, the guy who said intercontinental is ''underpriced''. Well, I guess hindsight is 20:20 vision. Pls dont try it!

i would rather say u go 4 firstbk or gtbank,  of course we knw u r sure of gettin retrns yearly div n bonuses cos of the fact that these r blue chip coompanies , also considering the prices these stocks r 2day, this is the best n ideal tyme to average your losses,   speakin of short term investment, therres nothin like dat ,, considering the era we are ,  global crunch.

@simple

why dont u open a stock broking acccount then ask your broker to advice you. Stockbrokers have analysts and researchers that can do that for you based on your investment objective and the information you give them. That will be better.

Pls , dont commit your moni into the hands of any broker, some of us have more analytic skills than they. Most of the peole you woking in the stock firms are not all stock brokers. Get educated  on how the stock market works before you lunch out.
Now that the 5 -CEOs of some banks are sacked , this will further depress the market  , there is panic withdral now in some of the banks, it  will takes intelligent analyses to make money in a depressed market.
My stock mentor thought me that I tell my broker the stocks I want, not the ones he wants me to buy, they may be looking for  oppotunities to push dead stocks to you.

Send an email with the subject: How To Pick profitable stocks in a Depressed Market

With the situation i Nigeria, I would not advise you to invest in companies at the moment. With that amount, why not invest in agricultural projects. They are not often advertised in papers. Example of such investment is this:
Palm Oil Plantation Investment

Share in Palm Plantation

5% of initial investment in year 1 to 4
17.5% continuous returns on investment from year 5 to 25
2% yearly increase from year 10

If anybody is interested in such deal they can contact me.

Addendum to palm Oil Plantation

Palm Oil Plantation Investment

Share in Palm Plantation
5% of initial investment in year 1 to 4
17.5% continuous returns on investment from year 5 to 25
2% yearly increase from year 10
Ownership ceased after 25 years
