Nice one bruv
Definito the most anticipated album for me
JAY Z D. O. A. has been nominated for two categories in the MTV Awards:
BEST HIP HOP VIDEO AND BEST MALE VIDEO
hOWEVER AM FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO VOTE
# # Jay-Z"D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)"
Directed by Anthony Mandler
Jay-Z's video for "D.O.A." is almost like The Godfather for the new millennium, except, instead of picking people off, Jay attacks Auto-Tune machines. Now that's a 21st century beef!

Where all the Jay-Z fans @? Funny that Brooklyn Go Hard and Jockin' Jay-Z are not listed as potential tracks on the LP.Same for History and When The Money Goes. Hope BP3 does not turn out as sour as 808s and Heartbreaks

Hope BP3 does not turn out as sour as 808s and Heartbreaks Yea, i cld pass on Brooklyn Go Hard, but History? Nahhh. For me History is Jay's dopest of late. Heard We Run The City like 3wks ago and im feelin it, there's sth bout Rihanna on hooks, doubt if she has a kid but she murders it. BP3 looks promising i aint worried a bit. Not wit 'Ye and No i.d on most production. Btw, neva tot 808&HB was/is sour, ma views is contrary. And t'was massively recieved even by fellow hiphopers. oNe

@DBR Please, don't get me wrong on the 'sour' word.808s and Heartbreaks turned out to be the most unacceptable experiment in the history of hip hop.The Kanye-Kid Cudi-Drake angle makes the BP3 looks like an experiment that many hip hop lovers may find hard to comprehend especially if Jay-Z does more singing than rappin'. Creativity must balance Mainstream appeal or else we fans would have a lot of bashing by the anti-s. Just look at how much controversy the cover art and Death Of the Autotune is already generating. I don't expect a best seller like The Blueprint. All i know is that Jay-Z was nice enough to record an album for me listening pleasure in '09!

Yea i get your point, but contrary 808 was eventually accepted. Rapper hav come out to say they love it, hey it's 'Ye so i guess they just embraced the novelty of the whole thingy?
Drake seem like one hot dude now, so i see it like since Jay aint ft. Weezy he slots in Drake to play that part, yea it's an experiment, but remember AmericanGansta was one too. The controversy in DOA wasnt that Jay went soft or too musical but the fact that he excused 'Ye and wezy from the autotunnin biz. and dudes were like hey take a swipe on autotunnin go all the hog, I see BP3 doin beta than AG, maynot be as dope as BP cos we always think the past is beta than the present, but it's gon be good. oNe

True, I avoided that album because I resented the autotune thingy until early this year, I started feeling Kanye once again. It's not so bad after all.

In the night i hear 'em talk, the coldest story ever told somewhere far along this road he lost his soul to a woman so heartless, oh how cud she be so heartless, undoubtedly one my best tunez ever! History is going to be written without a pen once again on the 11th of sept. 09. That's all i can say, get 'em Jay! LOL

Lol at the 808 drama. Funny enough when you dissect the album lyrical its got more substance than most album out then. It still went on to make Ye a lotta scrilla so he aint exactly complaining now.
