Review My Sites - Dhtmlextreme.com / Mwebng.net
« on: August 17, 2009, 04:51 AM »

Maybe i spoke too soon. Like i mentioned in earlier in some posts, i wish to separate my scripting stuffs from my main website.
So i am going to make www.mwebng.net into my personal/business site, and www.dhtmlextreme.com as my scripting site.

Yawatide, based on several of our discussions/fights, i am not going to make any of the 2 sites above javascript dependent.
And i am going to do use valid XHTML/CSS with joomla for their development.

Now i know many of you are expecting me to ajaxify dhtmlextreme.com, but i will disapoint there by using minimal/no javascript.

Update:
mwebng.net will be revamped shortly, hopefully later this week but will maintain the look and ajaxification (with degradation)
dhtmlextreme.com is not yet uploaded, but all the needed functionalities are present, the design is flexible and simple enough.
i am still doing my own reviews and some minor editings here and there. But i will not upload it until i revamp mwebng.net.
I want to remove and add some more features to mwebng.net after i remove the tutorial, dhtml scripts, download section and
some other stuffs. And i want to synchronized the 2 sites to have a common login and some other resources as well.

Let me post the screenshot here first, i will upload it later on when i have done more testing. By the way, it is in joomla, and reflects
most of the things i have learnt in joomla for the past few days incl css template development.

And so, we just completed the first round of reviews on YIM.
I am sorry about the speed issue, well, i am optimizing www.dhtmlextreme.com for functionality.

The opposite is the ajaxified www.mwebng.net which was optimized for speed, and will be remain so
but will be revamped shortly.

And thanks for all the nice comments and suggestions. Well, i am still in the testing phase. And please
dont crash the chat room o!

Now i have added a few utilities:
1-  a favicon creator (for now support png, will be extended to support other image formats later)
2- a pdf converter or creator (can convert words/html to pdf)
3- a joomla module creator - just da skeleton, then u continue your coding after that

Please, if anyone finds a bug with any of these tools, lemme know ASAP!
