Everyone has to shut up if they're literally getting angry over the internet. calm down. I stated a simple fact igbos are the shit and now everyone is talking about tearing nigeria apart, my friend. i dont get why yorubas say that igbos don't go to school when it's proof positive that igbos are the most studious ethnicity, by far and large, from africa, and possibly in the world. more academic and intellectual achievement has come out of the igbo nation then the rest of Nigeria combine lol. get your igbo stereotypes right we're greedy we're arrogant we're stingy we're chaotic we're load we have big heads but we aren't uneducated- the man with the highest IQ in the world, Emegwela(sp?) is Igbo poor- anyone with a non government job in nigeria is Igbo and other then Abuja igbo states have the highest per capita incomes in nigeria and hell yes we're the best at, ARMED ROBBERY  KIDNAPPING FRAUD BUNKERING IMPORTATION OF FAKE GOODS RITUAL JAZZ AND A HOST OF OTHERS Tongue Tongue Tongue LOL every tribe in nigeria does these things, but we do it the best LOL! hence the thread IGBO KWENU! |

why does going to school have to even be an issue, is it by force that everyone should go to school? I think this craze about education is killing us in Nigeria and that's why we have a lot of unemployed graduates. Basic education is important but its doesn't have to be tertiary level. if there is anything i like about the igbo people, it is the fact that the uneducated ones can make something out of their lives without going to school and they help their relatives from the village to learn their trade. however, some igbos take their industriousness to the extreme and try to rip you off, that's the part I don't like, the fake drugs, adulteration, i don't like. but igbos are industrious and every tribe in nigeria has its strengths.
@ikengawo- this thread, i thought it would have ended by now ehn???

I am going to agree with the thread starter's statement because Igbos also have the best schools, the best hospitals, the best road networks, all the Igbo states enjoy 24hr electricity, they have free education, they have also managed to alleviate poverty in all Igbo homes, as a matter of fact, because they are best at everything, they have invented a way of flying instead of walking, (!)

Even though people are ignorant of the fact that igbos are currently leading educationally. I want to say that if every ethnic group can have the doggedness of igbos then naija will be a better place. |
