@ eazybuzy, 4shared is not a download site but a free 5GB file storage (though upload limited to 100MB at a time) site. 

and definitely not 3schools.com! 

@ poster, u can't go wrong with either filehippo or apphit cause everything is categorically listed and easy to find.  I suspect the same company owns both.

by the way, if anyone is interested, Cometbird is a very decent browser, which has apphit link (software tab) built-in.   Peace!

Filehippo is a 'legit' software site. You get softwares as they were released by the publishers hence it has freeware, shareware and trial limited softwares.
