I liked Daniel too, though he's not such a fantastic singer - but he covers up well with a fantastic performance. What dulled his shine for me was when I heard he is openly bi-sexual. No homophobia here, but I just wished the hot ones will just stay plain straight FFS!!!

Obviously u would watch *kiss ma teeth* Grin Grin Grin. Along with ya partner in crime*cough cough maedan* . 70% of fans hate the new format. I don't blame them as I too can hardly tell the difference between X FACTOR and BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT.

@chic2pimp, what's up with you and polls anyway Grin?? You're always on about the bookies' favourite and the ratings and some such. Do you know how tough it is for the judges to audition gadzillions of singers, out of which just 1% are worth listening to not to speak of selecting for the next round? Having the public involved makes it more bearable and glitzy I suppose, so they get a chance to suffer a bit of what the judges have always gone through. I don't care how they do it, I just watch the participants anyway. Dwayne's was funny too, esp when he offered to sing "Happy Birthday" Cheesy Tongue. I'm happy he finally remembered Brokenhearted girl. Singing a Beyonce song is always a winning move Wink!

ratings and polls matter my dear Grin Grin Grin. They are the only way to judge wot programme the public like to watch. The new format is f**ked up. Don't wanna see the buncha alcoholic pumped morons u call the audience till we get to the live show. The auditions are the only things that makes the programme bearable and watchable.

I was working all night that day and I ran to youtube to download Danyl's performance. Damn it! I played that sh!t all night!!

The thing is that, to me, he sang it way better than the Beatles or even the rendition by Joe anderson for 'Across the Universe'. (With a little help from my friends). Then more funky than Joe cocker!!!

Once again, Simon Stood up.

I don't like the new format. I think I prefer the old way of doing auditions. It seems a bit staged and contrived. I think its amazing how some of the singers got up on stage and performed like pros. I'm pretty sure they rehearsed countless times on that stage before the auditions. It takes the edge off the show. The audience are also a big distraction for the auditions.

Finally heard Alexandra Burke's new single "Bad Boys" with FloRida, not too bad, catchy hook, something people will enjoy singing along.

~They've already started hyping up Danyl & Stacey Single Mum form Dagenham. .Sounds familiar? more like setting them up for bigger disappointment & a vist to the Priory like Susan Boyle!!

~Danyl appeared on ABC American. . him & Stacey were on the news tonight also. . bearing in mind its only the first auditions, they shud go easy on the hype!!

This is my favourite show.  So far no one in the first show touched my heart. Will be following the rest of episodes, and hope someone really talented comes along soon. Simon seemed to like Danyl though.

I don't see the Trin girl in the final live shows, but you never know. @mohawkchic, once again you read my mind!! That Afro guy can sing!! Needs some minor stage training, but he's got a great voice. He's officially replaced Danyl for me, who turned out to be a great disappointment to me Embarrassed Grin. I hope this guy weaves up his 'fro one day cos it's such a distraction! I love the girl group, Miss Fitz, though they seem an odd bunch. All in all, I hope we get enough watchable characters/singers to make the next few months enjoyable. Alas, is there ever going to be another version of JLS cos I think this season dearly needs one! Wink
