@lynxnoon,just configure all other browsers on your pc (IE,OPERA,CHROME et al) same as u did your firefox and fire d updater when d speed is okay at nite.
@honsule,i think your phone's gps has an hardware issue but if u think otherwise install your phone's latest firmware and lets see what happens.
I will post some screenshots of how my phone's gps (nokia E66) functions

@orik men tnx for d info, afta updating all my browsers d nokia updater finally worked . . . . . . but men d stuf seriosly likes high speed oh!! ;Dlol it started working n dwnloaded d map update( abt 5.4MB)for my nokia 6120c; wen i was getting rates of 60-120KB/s d annoying part was dat i couldn't install cos mid way into installing fone started screaming "memory too low" IMAGIN!!  (wel i'll deal wit it tonite  ) |

You don't need to be connected before you update your map to ovi 3.just get the offline installer.i have it,i just did the offline installation for a guy without going online.copy the cities and install the ovi 3,and i was done.

Note:change d .mp3 extension 2 .txt and open it with your phone's notepad

@lynxnoon Tnx for the hint, but I just realized there are update issues/bugs with N82 regarding the map updater. Check this blog out 4 details: http://betalabs.nokia.com/forum/topic/648Pls keep me posted on any solution available. |
