if it is true that you have it, then congratulations for your painstaking effort in preserving it. These what people should appreciate and emulate. If i had money i would have been prepared to pay a huge amount of money for it. Main while can i see the picture

I apologize to all, i have not been online for a while so i hadn't seen all the requests to see the Pound note. i'll put up a picture as soon as i can scan or use a digital camera but its exactly the same as the one posted by DOW. Once again i apologize.

Here are the pictures of the front and back of the pound note. I should remind people insulting me for one reason or the other here that i only asked if anyone knew how valuable it was and how much it could fetch. i never said i was auctioning it here on nairaland.

Your thumb looks like its been damaged by a hammer, are you a carpenter or furniture maker by the way??? If at anytime you change your mind about selling the note, pls remember iyeayo is interested, I am ready to make a very good offer.

go online and look for international coin/currency collector groups.  they would be best to inform you of its worth.  even though here it holds no worth doesnt mean a collector wouldnt want it.  collectors even buy the old zimbabwe note and we all know they were totaly worthless
