Seems to be working everyone all tribes are attending OWAMBE parties They marry outside tribe and bring husband or wife, into Yoruba culture and living Everyone is wearing yoruba style clothing Geles or Agbadas Everyone is living in Lagos of all tribes- Yorubas dont want to live outside the West Everyone knows yoruba language- Most Yorubas dont bother to learn anyone else's lol TAhey have a way of drawing people in for some reason |

Go to the north especially kano and kaduna and see yorubas who despite knowing how to speak yoruba hardly speak it but speak hausa becuase they they want to be accepted by their hausa freinds.Jarus will tell you better. If you have common sense, ask yourself who owns London, NY, Johannessbourg, Tripoli, Abidjan, Tokyo etc. Have you heard people claiming they own the city apart from the real landlords?. May be if Lagos becomes an industrialized city in such a way that residents can trace their roots as far as Australia, you will bring the question up again.
