Please there is a mistake in what submitted above, it is actually the rivers state govt that holds 3.2 bil units, not M. Babangida.

first of all, no be get that S-class. My one dey come by his grace but e be like say d guy don beat me to the personalized number plate  Grin  Grin  Grin.

On redstar, after its meteoric rise since listing, it went into a trading range around the N8 mark and has been rising again in the last week or so. Now, the candle stick pattern as far as i see it still shows very short days generally speaking, with declining volume.

i am undecided on this one, it is too thinly traded. lets talk tomorrow.

i am being cautious on this one although the RSI and MACD and macd histogram are not bad.

if u've hit your target, why not offload.

@blueband
no worry about unhomes, it trades well over 10million units daily. i am sure with the number of deals also being above average, u go get to buy  Cheesy  Cheesy. but not sure how long more this has to drop though, i suspect it still has a little more dropping to do.

Topgun: Looking at Airservices from a different perspective, see how using 10 and 20 EMA changes the picture? Which is reliable? Have you found the 20/50 EMA's better?

I got into Redstar at N8, so yet to make my mark. If its going to take till kingdom come, I might jump ship.

Ahhhhhh sister you miss that one oh, BIG TIME.I no say you dey busy so you dey miss date easily for here. Make you go check my post well well, very well well oh. E dey very easy to check am.When you don trace my post finish, check the date when Seun attach to am.I think you know how to trace post. YOU MUST TRACE AM. No let your eye GLAZE as you dey trace am oh. When you don trace am finish, go www.cscsnigerialtd.com. Then go to price history, when you find the price when match the date of my post or the preceeding date,i want make you come talk am for here with great speed and alacrity.I get stake in any stock i talk (very important u know).
I remember i quiz you one day on Unilever some weeks ago. " I ASK IS IT TIME". That na my question to you. You know wetin happen one-two weeks later Abi.
My sister timing na the blood of NSE. Make you go confirm that ccnn date again eh.
On another note, are you still thinking of exiting your Unilever at N26 as you talk that time?.Check am well oh.

My bros, I no miss nathin at all. Go back to your posts of January 2 (from page 278) and read where you were recommending ccnn saying that there's still room for growth, etc. That was my first point of contact with you on CCNN. The price then was N24. Infact I remember questioning you on what you saw in the stock at that price and you drew my attention to the 9month result. How the price has moved from then until now is history. Whether or not you have a stake in any stock that you recommend is of no importance to me, really. One can very well recommend a stock that might be suitable for another person, but not for their own portfolio. That one does not have a stake in a stock doesn't mean one can't or shouldn't recommend it.

My point in this whole thing is that no one is right all the time, as no stock picking method works 100% of the time just by virtue of the fact that psychology plays a large part in the way the market goes. We already have the fear of deep pockets preventing people on the forum from letting out stock ideas until they've purchased and we certainly don't need any more fears on the forum. If we begin to have a situation where people get punched in the nose for being wrong in their analysis after the fact, then people will begin to hesistate to do any analysis for fear of being jumped on if the analysis turns out to be the wrong call after the fact. So let's refrain from attacking people's stock picking methods. If you don't like a particular method, feel free to skip it or just simply propose another one that works. That's all i'm saying.

As per unilever, me don sell that one long time at 24.98. No time wasting for that side at all.

The controversy trailing the revocation of the sale of Nigerian Telecommunication Limited (NITEL) and its mobile subsidiary, Mobile Telecommunication Limited (M-Tel) to Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) was on Friday, laid to rest with the federal government and the management of Transcorp agreeing to bring in a new core investor.

“To reconfirm the earlier mutual agreement between government and Transcorp for both to relinquish shares sufficient to give comfort and controlling interest to the new operator/investor consistent with the December 2007 agreement.”

The two parties said the decisions taken are in the best interest of the industry, stakeholders and the Nigerian people.

However, Transcorp’s Vice President, Communications, Adedayo Ojo, explained that no agreement was reached on the percentage of shares to be relinquished to the new core investor.

He said another meeting would soon be held during which both parties would agree on what percentage that will go to the new core investor.

Following last weekend's mis-communication by the Minister of Information and Communication, four reputable telecom firms, Telkom and Vodacom, both of South Africa, Orascom of Egypt and France Telecom were reported to have already indicated interest in taking over the troubled national carrier. - Thisday

Fof2 about wapco - I prayed, but my faith wasn't strong enough. But, i believe there is still hope for long term. however, not as good as it would have been with the lifted ban on importation - (The lesson for me, is what do you do when it doesn't go as planned)

Without appearing to take sides on the stock prediction issue, like WW said, no one is right 100% of the time, you win some, you lose some. AirLafarge is a good example.

On the lighter side, there are three groups of people who can be wrong 90% of the time, and yet not get sacked!

Stock analysts who can predict a buy,and the stock then goes down several points

The weather analyst who tells you its going to be a sunny day,and then you come home drenched in the rain

And the political analyst who says Obama has New Hampshire only for Hillary to win that primary!

Some Economics

A truck driver moved to Texas and bought a donkey from an old farmer for $100.
The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day. The next day the farmer drove up and said: "Sorry, but I have some bad news. The donkey died."
"Well, then, just give me my money back."
"Can't do that. I went and spent it already."
"OK, then. Just unload the donkey."
"What ya going to do with him?"
"I'm going to raffle him off."
"You can't raffle off a dead donkey!"
"Sure I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead."
A month later the farmer met up with the truck driver and asked:
"What happened with that dead donkey?"
"I raffled him off. I sold 200 tickets at two dollars apiece and I made a profit of $898."
"Didn't anyone complain?"
"Sure, but just the guy who won. So I gave him back his two dollars."
