Wanajo,

Please what do you think about NEM's acquisition of Lombard insurance? Does it in anyway improve the outlook of their fundamentals?

To some newbies like me, the link below will make an interesting read.

There was returned money for DSR above 50,000 (or 100,000 units) I think. dangote Flour rode on that hype.

That must be 100K + units  i know quite a few peeps who got 50K

You are right that's one of his motivation for floating Dangote Flour. I hope he doesnt start the quarterly dividend nonsense with this one!

I think anything above 50,000 units got 90% allocation!!! Not as bad as Dangote flour. Note also that more units were offered for DSR. Additionally the fowrard PE of DSR was much lower. DSR was offered at a discount but the flour was done at a premium.

NEM already acquired/merged with Vigilante. Actually Vigilante people now dominate the board and management of NEM. Problem is no one yet knows the share exchange ratio. Everything about insurance companies are shrouded in secrecy as if na secret cult!!!

NEM is currently rebranding but I find it difficult buying NEM at 5.00!!! same company that I was offered rights @ N0.55!!! Not complaining though but things don't just add up!!! Can't remember last time dividend was paid.

@aktopgun and all,

This seems to be the best opportunity to enter Dangote sugar. Although from the stochastics looks like it may still drop further, sellers totally dorminated the market today from start to finish. However looking at the RSI (26.98) it is massively oversold and hence one of the best buy signals. Please, inputs and anybody can analyse and make your decision. CAVEAT EMPTOR

Thanks for this bro - its very interesting, and i'm sure, useful for the immediate future but it has not answered my question. There is an excel document called the NNSE that Easimoni usually provides at the end of every week. . .  but sadly he has now stopped, i'm sure he didnt know that people like me found it very useful - perhaps because we never made mention of it.
I used to use it for my little analysis but now that i cannot get it at will, i want to know how to find it by myself - somebody please help

Which was the reason a lot of peeps did not touch it in the first place. I remember on this forum we agreed that the offer price should not have been more than N10 but as you and i know fundamentals do not count on the NSE anymore at least in the short-term!

And i think that was one of the reasons for the delay in approving the IPO by SEC and NSE

@upward

yes dsr is looking attractive but i think it will get even more so. the rsi may remain less than 30 for who knows how long. i would get in when i see signs of it bottoming out but maybe its all wishful thinking to think it still has more falling to do.

Hahahahahaa Grin, wishful thinking indeed. Well, it is likely to get to 40 naira (wanajo's target price) because looking at the chart, like we've said, it may likely some haemorrhage, even if occult or passive. But you know the way some guys rush, and not allow the thing to buttom out, but no fears, it seems to be strongly responding to gravity, just for this week-o, if it will continue

This na my 2 cents.

I think NASCON is further ripe for the picking. One just has to be patient. Some of these stocks rise and fall and create new support and resistance levels.  See how Unilever don gradually rise and fall from 19 to over 24 Naira. It did this over a period and not in 1 week or 2.

Some of us bought NASCON at 16 naira. Thanks to Fof2. Hopefully it won't get back to that level.

We are expecting 9mths and end of yr reports for NASCON

The 6mths result was very good.

But alas the choice is yours. CAVEAT EMPTY WELL WELL NO BE SMALL!
