This is a must see for us Nigerians - http://youtube.com/watch?v=O2Y_njZ9Dg8&feature=related

Mike Wallace tried to frame Nigeria as the most corrupt nation in the world and got an earful from Farrakhan. The way he even phrased the question was infuriating. What an @$$ #0!^  Angry Angry Angry

IMO, such comments spoil foreign investments to Nigeria. My BS excuse to post this here Grin Grin Grin

This is the first time I agree with what Farrakhan has to say.  Huh Huh
Na wa for the way Mike Wallace framed the question and I normally enjoy 60mins. Tongue
Its funny how people easily change their mind when the criticism affect them (including me Angry Angry)

@ALL:

I would like to express my heartfelt delight at discovering this thread about 2yrs ago. You see, I started investing in 2004 with zenith and gtb primarily (when they were offered for just N10.90 and N10.70 respectively), at that time i didnt know the meaning - i just had a stockbroker who i gave all excess cash to invest for me. I left Nigeria in 2004 and joined this site in 2006, it was at this time that i remembered i had bought some shares and at that time the value had gone up.
After joining this site, i found the much needed encouragement to invest even more. I have silently observed the thread and used the information wisely. I may be in London, but i've been able to invest substantially in almost every public offer since 2007, i have never sold any share since i started investing and have never taken a loan, but today, with your informative debates on this thread, i've made myself a fortune and i know it would not have been so if i didnt bump into this thread.

I want to use this opportunity to give thanks to all those who have contributed meaningfully to this thread, it has educated and enriched me abundantly and i hope someday we can have a get together or something where we can meet and actually show gratitude.

@ Nairalanders

Got Farrhakhan link.
Will email the link to all myfriends.

At least Farrakhan does not rundown Nigeria like Oprah Winfrey and Colin Powell.

Nigeria is not perfect but it is getting better.
We need constructive criticisms not bland denouncements.

We all need to appeal to Seun to allow Aktopgun and other Cele Candle people shine the thing for NSE for us especially now with all these bears.

People seems to grab pictorially explanation easier and clearer than written, that is why the popular adage says; “action speak more louder than words”  .

Come to thing of it, abi na Seun release all the bears sef for NSE?   Grin Grin Grin

Bro easi - I see two things happening here,

Skye might single handedly forces the bull to move on the banking sector and it would exceed the N20 mark expected - which i doubt.

Or

The bear pulls it back from reaching that height,  and it starts oscillating around N19-N21

Caveat emptor - but, would be glad to have some takers on who disagreees

Savvy,
Me thinks Skye bank should get to 27-28 b4 settling. But you never know in a bear market (then again, I think the bulls come out on Friday)
