Took a shot of her (picture) washed it, hanged it. Gee, this is the smartest thing i've said on nairaland! Mr. Risky, time to eject from Transcorp?

Thanks Bele' for your smart reply.  I know some ladies must have been looking at me with one kind eye 'how can a loving husband shoot his wife' bla, bla.  Na photo en take am ooooooo.  Ok

I bought Transcorp then at N9.71 when I didn't know stocks would need to be analysed, like searching for a good wife.  Now the question is back to you, should I bail out now Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Will appreciate a response from my teachers (see signature below) if they are in; otherwise, comments from others will be appreciated.

As the bears are packing their bags and baggage ready for departure to give the bulls a spacious space to do their thing I'm arranging a long gun margin to shoot some stocks listed below:

CONTINSURE
EKOCORP
ROYALEX
NEM
MBENEFIT

All, kindly arrange them in the order in which you would shoot (assuming you were in my shoes) and the weight (in %) you would attach to each.

Unusual is the pace of the thread today. Like bear movement Wink.

Does anyone know a site(s) that publishes the daily BID & OFFER position of stocks on NSE?
Would appreciate the information.

Father of 2

Please I really need some analysis on FCMB. I am tired of this stock barabulating between 18 and 20 naira. I am surprised people are showing interest in this same stock. What sayest thou.

I seem to have missed my 2nd cico opportunity on union homes. Na wa o learners must grow.

@enyaimann,

Here are my thoughts regarding banks and my other concerns.

1. The banks are not going anywhere in the short-run. I've come to conclude that investors have seen the NSE as a cash-machine or slot machine. People have grown used to >80% YoY growth and they think it that is the norm. That is not sustainable in the long-term. Also, the banks have raised too much money in a short period of time and they have become "fatty bombom" and will find it hard producing such growth rates. Hence the migration of "investors"/speculators to low norminal value stocks.

I would love to share some other thoughts though.  As the non-fundamental but rapid growth sectors/stock begin to show red, the fundamental bank stocks will see some demand again and even some insurance stocks
even before the last quarter.
2008 will still yield >50% ROI however I hope regulations will be tightened, before the masses suffer again,

Question!! who is looking for Juli 6.54M share demand today??

As them no gree make we post picture, enjoy this!

One afternoon an agbero stockbroker was cold calling potential CICOers about a stock and found a taker. "I think this one will really fly said the broker. It's currently only trading at N1 a share."

"Buy me 1000 shares," said the client. The next day the stock had jumped to N2. The client called the broker and said, "You were right about that stock, I'd like to buy 5000 more shares."

The following day the client looked in the paper and the stock had skyrocketed to N4. The client ran to the phone and called the broker, "Get me 10,000 more shares," said the client.

"Wonderful!" said the broker. The following day the client looked in the paper and the stock had reached N9.

Deciding to take advantage of the huge profit he had made in just a few days(on advice  from Pumping to lock in some profit), the client ran to the phone and told the broker, "Sell all my shares!"

The broker said, "To who? You were the only one buying that stock."

One more patient for Aktopgun Shocked Shocked
Nice one.  I hope that we all grasp the import of the joke oh. Our speculative activity may just be what is sending that stock price up

You are all welcome back.  I had thought you guys would forget about stock at least for the next three months, afterall the bears are all here Grin

Anyway, for now you need to joggle your brains.  Just try and see if you can read the following.  If you are able, then always rely on your instincts to invest.  Do you really need analysis?   A few candles are just enough, and AKT is currently discussing with a Candle producing firm in the States.  We are looking for multiple colours this time, not just doji and red marubazu Grin Grin Grin

I don't know seuns gmail account - I have volunteered for moderator be4 - he no reply,

Its better to have about 2-3 moderators especcially for this thread, we don't want it to degenerate.

I second that. We need to keep the posting on the thread sane.

As for the uploads and pictures that are not coming through, I think seun's storage space from his webhost is reaching its peak, so he has to curb the rate at which people upload pictures and sort. If the cash he gets from google adsense is enough provided you peeps click on ads and dont just chit chat about stock market tips then he should buy more space and allow the gurus to keep posting pics. just my opinion.

This is the first time in a while I am seeing RED in my portfolio, this thing bad o!

Does anyone know the issuing house for MTI? I know it has closed, but Im sure someone has a broker who warehoused it, abeg if you have any information, I wouldnt mind getting it just send me your email and Ill reply. Thanks
