Simply wait for the season to change. Don't personalize this or you will get yourself in a panic.
Every portfolio is bleeding in various degrees, even those of the gurus. Its a market wide thing. It's a SEASON. Seasons change.
Please do not worry. Alot of folks are looking for money to pick UP your bleeding stocks. If you know anything about economics, then guessing the effect of that action won't require a degree.

@Gees
Thanks. I appreciate that link you gave me on market bid/offer. Found it very useful.

Yesterday, I deleted all my sale order.
I came to the conclusion, this is not the best time to reshuffle portfolio,  or sell.

So guys, i am out for Now - When the Bull returns, or at least the bear pressure reduces,  you would see me again.

You have my email - holla at me if my guguru support is needed.

For all those interested in PP, I got some authentic info about a new PP going on by a company called Nadina industries Ltd. I never heard of them but apparently they are in the Printing & Publishing sector and according to their prospectus claim to be the biggest in that industry. 1billion ordinary shares of N1 each @ N1.95k per share. It closes tomorrow. Has anyone else heard about this?

Everyone has gone to attend the BULL'S remarkable funeral Sad  The House is mourning Cry

Whatever it is we have to take consolation in the fact that the BULL will rise again on 1st of April (APRIL FOOL'S DAY) Grin

The NSE has released the latest investor music titled - "I WISH I HAVE MONEY".

Many opportunities yawning for attention.  Sad, sad that there is no money.

@ ALL,

For the  attention of PP investors i wich to bring to your notice some new ride more are coming if you feel like ridding:

1- AMAKPE INTERNATIONAL REFINERIES NIGERIA LIMITED: Brief info
Amakpe International Refineries Nigeria Limited (Amakpe Refinery) was incorporated under the laws of Nigeria in July 2000, as a subsidiary of Amakpe International, Inc., USA.  Following the Privatization of the Oil and Gas Industries by the Government of Nigeria, the Company decided to invest in the establishment of a 12,000 BPD Crude Oil Refinery at Eket in Akwa Ibom State and engaged Financialbridge of Miami, Florida to package Funding for the development of the Refinery Project.

2-  VIRGIN NIGERIA PP: THE PRIVATE PLACEMENT WAS SUBSTANTIALLY  OVER-SUBSCRIBED for its 51% stake. na so Simon Harford dey smile jeje after the story nawaoo.

3- KAJOLA INTEGRATED INVESTMENT LIMITED ONGOING:

4- OMATEK DONE DEAL,

QUESTIONS: Can anybody in the house shed more light on these following for more understanding OFFER TYPE

HIPO ----     Hybrid Initial Public Offer

              HPO             Hybrid Public Offer

             IPO              Initial Public Offering

              PP                Private Placement

              PO                Public Offer

              RI                 Rights Issue

and the type of offer method companies adopt such as:
                           SAL        Offer for Sale
                           SUB        Offer for Subscription
                           RI           Rights Issue

A PO is open to anyone, a PP is open to select investors (usually high-net worth). POs are regulated, PPs are not. An IPO is the first PO a comany does and is usually done as soon as the company lists.

Hybrid offers are a combination of SAL, SUB and RI. Once you do more than one of the 3, you have a hybrid whatever.

SAL - someone is selling you already issued shares, no new shares are being created. Open to new shareholders
SUB - selling you newly issued shares. New shares will be created and PE will be diluted. Open to new shareholders
RI - an SUB/SAL open to only existing shareholders. Most often for new shares.

Hope the answers suffice
