HELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING THE NEW ZENITH BANK FUND STUFF BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHICH ONE TO GO FOR BETWEEN THE EQUITY FUND (Capital Appreciation, minimum of 70% in Blue chip stock) AND THE INCOME FUND (Capital preservation and maximun of 20% in Blue chip Stocks)!

PLEASE ADVICE ON THESE TOPIC WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

OR DO YOU THINK THE FUND ISN'T WORTH IT AND I SHOULD JUST GO FOR REGULAR SHARES IN THE SECONDARY MARKET? PLEASE KINDLY ADVICE AS I AM NOT SO MUCH EXPOSED TO THIS FUND STUFF? THOUGH I BOUGHT THE FIRST BANK HERITAGE FUND.

HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU GUYS.

@ Beginner,

You need to run a scan on your PC. Its carrying a Trojan through this link you just sent. And i think it will pass it on to any unprotected PC that clicks that link.
I lost some cool trading business because of this thing last year.
Market is still making more recovery signs. You'll see it if you look in the right direction.

I have not yet read all the details, however if you are not keen on spending time looking at investments that is you put the money and leave it for years then the Equity fund should perform better.
With some interest in the market you may beat the fund managers though (by buying into individual stocks).  Also from your last sentence then invest in something else (why invest in two funds?).
For instance buy 1 bank: GTB, PHB or UBA
1 coy like Dangote sugar and leave it for the period you also wanted to leave the funds,  See which yielded better returns,
Essentially the decision is up to you,
Happy investing

Tripple Gee & company Plc made public its audited year end result for the period ended 31 March, 2008. A break down of the results revealed that the company made a turnover of N0.775 billion as compared to N0.631 billion recorded in its last financial year. Clearly showing an increase of 22.82 percent.
Profit before tax grew by 95.45 percent during the period under review from N0.066 billion in 2007 to N0.129 billion in 2008. After tax profit stood at N0.101 billion as to N0.052 billion recorded in 2007, signifying a growth of 94.23 percent. The company has proposed to reward its shareholders with a dividend payment of 15 kobo and bonus issue of 1for 2. Its closure date is 3rd - 7th July and payment date is 17th July.

Now we know the reason for the sustained rally in it's price

Guaranty Trust Bank plc, one of the largest and most profitable financial institutions in Nigeria has surpassed projections made by declaring a pre-tax profit of N27.4 billion for the 2007/2008 financial year.

In line with its progressive dividend policy, the Bank is recommending the payment of a gross dividend of 95 kobo per share, comprising 70 kobo per share final dividend and 25 kobo per share interim dividend, which was paid out in December 2007.

The Bank’s board of directors is also recommending that bonus shares in the proportion of one new share for every eleven shares currently held be issued to shareholders.

Looks set to hit N75 to N76.

Any thoughts on this

I'm looking to invest a share of my profits i made through the FOREX on stocks,      I currently trade the foreign exchange spot market and did like 67.4% on my personal trading account this month but 33.7% for my clients off their invested capital of $10,000 since all monthly returns are been splitted 50:50,

Please all Stock guru in the house,   tell me your view on Guarantee Trust,   : I'm looking to Long that Share! but need the veterans in the field!   If you're looking to invest in the FX, then view here www.currexgroup.com or call 08025853063 08061682118,   But for Stocks!,    I need the Gurus advice,    Wink

Ok, enough of all the talk, good forex traders don't make good stock traders,   lol

Please all Stock guru in the house, I need your advice  tell me your view on Guarantee Trust.  is it a good bye?

oga o, u don reach here with your forex tin? So you now make 67% a month and no more 27%?  I tire for you o.

did you correctly read my post?

67.4% on my personal trading account this month

33.7% for my clients off their invested capital

my reason for been here is  this which i posted "Please all Stock guru in the house, I need your advice  tell me your view on Guarantee Trust.  is it a good buy? .

are you honestly from the united states as displayed on your profile? wheeew,

I am going to do the smart thing and ignore your future posts on this forum.  I post here regularly and I believe it is prudent for me to let my fellow people know how you have been posting this your GUARANTEED 67% or 33% forex return or whatever in various forums. oops, you did not put the guarantee in your post?  What happened?  You are no longer guaranteeing the return? why now?  I want GUARANTEED 33%, or is that not what you were offering before? I hope the bears did not consume your guarantee o  Grin

Yes, you posted that you wanted info on GTB after you had conveniently advertised your famous 67% (or is it 33%, hmmmm, in the other forum it was 27%, so it's now 33%?  Shocked) return including providing your cell #. Your post was 70% forex related and 30% GTB related, and you want us to believe that the reason you posted it was because you wanted more info on GTB? I tire for u o.

No, I am not in the United States. Go figure!

did you get a chance to view my website www.currexgroup.com ?  any GUARANTEE Statement there?
and could you provide a post i made where i posted GUARANTEED? provide the link and not the copied statement,

As a market currency veteran and an authorised Introducing Broker and Fund Manager with the UK and US Clearing Firm i work with, No GUARANTEED Statement can be issued or even pronouced by a qualified Fund Manager even if we know there's huge profit been made from this asset class of it's own.

Even the Banks, Hedge Funds, and Huge Financial Institutions have the below statement on their websites or Limited Power Of Attorney Forms they give to their clients regardless of the billions been made on a monthly basis by the HUGE Players,

***customers should be aware of the risks associated with over-the-counter, spot Forex. In the off-exchange, also called the over-the-counter market, a retail customer trades directly with a counterparty and there is no exchange or central clearing house to support the transaction.Forex trading is highly speculative in nature which can mean currency prices may become extremely volatile. Forex trading is highly leveraged, since low margin deposits normally are required, an extremely high degree of leverage is obtainable in foreign exchange trading. A relatively small market movement will have a proportionately larger impact on the funds you have deposited. You may sustain a total loss of your funds. Since the possibility of losing your entire cash balance does exist, speculation in the Forex market should only be conducted with risk capital you can afford to lose which will not dramatically impact your lifestyle. ****

So, ?   may we have the direct link where i posted a guaranteed statement for our viewing, ?

Replying your post doesn't speak well of my credibility,    I would Just Ignore your future posts if you can't provide a direct link where all members could click and view the GUARANTEED statement I made!

Warmest Regards

I copied two of your posts (the links are also provided) because I did not want you to go ahead and DELETE or EDIT them.  So promising 25% ROI is not a guarantee Huh. Make I go check my dictionary.  enough said!

Now you show me where the banks or huge financial institutions you mentioned in your post have promised 25% monthly return.  Please provide the link, like I have done in your case.  I guess your license needs to be revoked with the guarantees promises that you have been making as an authorised Introducing Broker and Fund Manager with the UK and US Clearing Firm  Wink

Even with the exodus of most of the gurus(most of whom still visit occasionaly),the stock thread is peopled by real market gurus that serve as "in built anti virus soft ware" to quickly spot dubious posts on the thread and subsequently issue a caveat emptor warning to other posters,so no point over-flogging the issue
