Mine is Lanre Oniyilo.

How can I change my account when I just joined 3 weeks ago Angry

My sisterinlaw has been saying Good things about him, lets wait and see what he has to say for himself when we chat later in the day.
MY annoyance with them is if they dont buy anything for you they should talk on time so you can book something else against the next day trading.

75% of my funds have been with them for 4 weeks now with no investment with it,  haba ke,  thats annoying

lead capital --- we have not said they are bad ooo, because they are better than a lot of brokers out there.

also, remember we are outside naija - the time difference  (5hours) makes things more difficult.

Do not use my experience to judge.

My account opening took 2 weeks because of lack of passport photograph, if I was in Lagos it would have taken 2-3days.

@all

Anyone read Soludos article about Increase in MPR from 8  to 9%.  I am not concerned about that but he mentioned that Banks deposit with CBN will no longer attract interest rates - reduction in interest income.

Anyone with CBN or anyother Financial Institution to shed light on this development - is it inconsequential ? ( Bullet??) Wink

I dont think the injunction would affect the position of other insurance companies. The companies affected are Nigerian Re and NICON and the subtance of their case was to prevent NAICOM from reversing their  privatisation. My fear is that with this the government may continue to sit on the insurance funds, which may then tell on the ability of the affected firms to deliver on their forecasts.

To All Gurus,
Please could you all advise me on this, amongst all the stocks i have the only one that has appreciated is NGC i bought for 13.50, why i am saying this is that i need to buy Japaul and don't have cash at hand, is it advisable to sell part of my NGC to purchase Japaul

Secondly i have about 5000 units of Fidelity do i sell and purchase the PO that is now on?
I think you should do that so that you can take the profit on it.

could u please explain clearly. thanks

University Press did a rights issue early 07. Look for #39

http://www.sec.gov.ng/Newissues.htm

FSDH calculate the trailing EPS as 0.37 so there's a disconnect there. Add the rights issue to the outstanding shares you have and see if that aligns u with FSDH. Check out the Meristem s.sheet as well and look for the true picture.

No be wayo! They bought mine lower than the closing price. Sometimes you win, sometimes you pay a lil more than u should. I've had it go both ways several times. I've been happy when they sold for me at the day's high and benn miffed when they also bough at the day's high. Can't win them all but I don't suspect wayo with Lead, not for a second.

Oti pari,

You have convinced me and not confused me!!! Cheesy

@Shigidi,

We have to shine our eyes well for all this unlisted shares. The day they get listed na wahala oo the shares will just dey supply no corresponding demand.

Companies with additional shares listed in the last few days - weeks have had supply out-weigh demand. Case in point Law& Union.

So please lets be sure of total oustanding shares  and what is listed before making purchases.

Unfortunately, NSE doesn't make it easy.

@ donne4real

My friends and I use UBA, they have their NRN--Non resident nigerian accts, its for people in US, UK or Canada so if u live in either places u can use it. Very painless process, and Temitope their relationship manager for US (based out of the lagos head offie) is wonderful, quickest he responded to my email was 9mins! They have their NYC office as well that opened within the past yr.

http://www.ubaplc.com/newubaplc/defaultNRN.asp

Their minimum for current NRN acct is N100k
We are also using them for our capital market acct, and the minimum there is N250k
So to open both at same time is N350k

Oceanic Bank now most capitalised bank in terms of shareholder's fund
Raised about 175 million from the public offer and funds now stands over 200 million
Think its time for holders to sell then buy after the shares are allocated since shares outstanding will now be around 22 billion units
EPS will drop to about 0.82 after the full year earnings report.
I sold my shares at 30.00 naira and may buy back after the shares are allocated.

Fidelity Bank raising money through local GDR offer. Minimum subcription is 50 million naira only.
