I remember we were having social club party at my school was a very big hall with few of us, my friend pulled one girl for me to dance with, she was quite tall and i was shy, and I couldnt remember all the biggie, heavy d and tupac steps i had been practicing. I ran away and sat down. didnt hear the last of it from my classmates.

Going down memory lane,I tried approaching the girl my hands were damn too sweaty,felt like peein myself and couldnt utter anyword,just ran away as fast as i could,so i tried a different route wrote her a letter,slipped it into her locker,she read it so did her friends and b4 i know it every1 in the class read it and find it's way to the teacher's.I was so embarrased but eventually she gave in and it was amazing.

Then in High school,I so much fancy a girl AISHA,i always give her my lunch food,let her copy me when we having exams,to the point i let her hit me several times when we playing but couldnt find the guts to tell her i want her to be my GF,sum new dude got a transfer to my class and everything changed,he was bold he "toasted" and she agreed,i was so angry that i stopped giving her my lunch food and moved my sit so she would stop copying me,eventually she got the Message but she still didnt breakup with him.

Heeeyyyyy!!! I had to add this link to my favourite, will keep reading it, just like I had to turn to NL to reinvigourate and return to work, What a thrill!!!My experience?? Then it was in my primary school, It was so bad that there was this half cast that resumed at my school, was in my class. U guys cant believe that for 2 whooping weeks the girl was arround, na stare-stare I take dey toast am, could not gather any liver, missed everything taught in the class, fell sick (of love) on top of it, Then after the two weeks of involuntary self punishment, the parents took her away to another school before I carry look hipnotise them daughter , Though the girl was staring sometimes too(got me thinking she had same feelings) I mourned the girl's relocation hoping I would just meet her by chance someday and at least prove that I was'nt dumb  |

the first time i got chatted up was hilarious. Poor boy got his words all tangles up and ended up blurting out ''you'r cute'' and ran off, well we were only 11yrs old lol.
To the girls saying they will not chat a guy up, well i chatted my hubby up and we've been together since we were 15 and 16yrs old. Don't knock it girls. Rejection i'm sure sucks but you like something go for it.

disastrous!!! GOD!!! , my best friend had hinted her(they were neighbours) that i liked her and would want to see her in his Sitting room. Believe me, i thot it was going to be so easy but immediately she opened the door, guy, my liver cut!  As she sat down, i 'walked over' to the refridgerator,opened it to get her , nothing in particular; at this juncture, i was shaking and looking like someone suffering from parkinson's disease, believe you me, I JUST WANTED THE FLOOR TO OPEN AND SWALLOW ME! i kept staring into the fridge doing nothing, saying nothing, my mind just went blank!!!.  after about 2min, she was like, helloooo and even with that, i still couldnt say or do anything. After another minute of silence, i just walked out of the room feeling like the most stupid person on earth never wanting to set my eyes on her again. my friend laughed, and laughed and laughed which made the chick feel very embarrassed and stupid as well. since then till today, i have never tried toasting again! You guys will not kill me with laughter o Mine was rather pathetic, there was this new girl that came to my school, Oluchi by name, tall and beatiful, always pestering me, always around me, copy my notes, sits beside me to giraffe during exams and always speaking softly in my ears, my friends kept teasing me that she is my girlfriend. So, I made up my mind to talk to her one day during lunchbreak. I bought food for both of us (same plate) and she started eating straightaway, I was just looking at her tongue-tied and couldnt talk, after a while, she said Johnnny eat now, I said I was fasting, she finished the food and we left for class. I was so angry with mysef the next day when one of my friends told me he toasted her dat same evening after school and she agreed. I am still angry at mysef till today for being dat stupid. |

This is quite nostalgic.
My 1st toasting experience I can recall was actually a gal's toast. My family friend had written this letter 2 me, think in my JS1, and I recall not knowing what to tell when we met 1st to 1st and she asked for my reply 2 her advances in the letter. She was quite bold for age then. of cos we never made it pass one awkward kiss on the cheek, I had sabotaged it already with my shyness.
My 1st experience toasting a gal was a disaster. think I was in my JS2 or 3 at this time. Now I had a crush on this gal, I thot she was the most beautiful gal in d world. she was my mate but not in my class. We never spoke except occasionally "hi's", and even those were an effort. Whatever prompted me 2 pour out my soul on a letter 2 her , I dunno, guess U finally listen to those silly classmates and friends of yours who keep drumming "I saw KATE looking @ u today, think she likes you, blah blah blah" Anyways she gets d letter somehow, and her School Mum accidentally gets to know about it. So one day here am I, sitting in the dining hall, having lunch, some gal comes 2 me, "Senior ESEOSA want to see u," I head over there and gbam I'm facing the whole SS3 gals, the fiercest and finest lot, they teased the shit out of me, dunno if u know how FGC dining halls are @ lunch time, embarrasment is understatement, i wanted d ground to swallow me.
Gosh, It was really embarrasing, this small innocent looking junior boy being laughed at by these intimidating female prefects and the silly KATE gal whispering "i am sorry" from across the table. It was my school father that finally came to my rescue, I guess my little letter was effective afterall, cos my School DAd n the gal's School Mum started dating afterwards. But that was some experience, Its funny cos d gal is someone i see now often in London and we're such cool friends. I never seize 2 remind her how her little carelessness created a not so cool day 4 me.

Ahhhhh I cannot stop laughing because you guys just reminded me of the 1st babe I toasted. Let me gist u.
It happened way back in my secondary school days, I happened to be a shy person, that trace is still evidenced till date, though things have change with age and experience.
I like this babe in my friends street, so much, that I told my friend about it. The same guy told me that the Babe liked me as well, and went further that, the babe told him same thing, as I said about her.
With that assurance, I told the guy to help my call the babe so that I can toast her. Hmmm…, how manage me I no sabi toast oooo. As the babe was walking towards me I felt like running away…I didn’t even know what to say,my heart was beating seriously. All my partner in crime my friend were waiting in front urging me not to disappoint. The first word I uttered was ‘’Em emmm, they said you liked me’’,she then replied ‘’NOOOO……,’’ I did not say that. I now said ‘’ sorry I thought you said so’’ OK bye.I fucked up man , my guys had a good laff when I told them of what transpired, I also tried never to cross the babe path . I was so ashamed of my self. Ever since I dare not toast a babe till I got to the University.

Eventually one of them seniors snatched her but I was not bothered though. My real first one was in SS2 and I did not mince words. I was like "I want you to be my girl" but she refused in a polite way but I had the jitters though. I am just always skilled in hiding my fears.
