What Is Money?
« on: September 04, 2009, 07:04 PM »

With the way we Nigerians are rushing after this thing called money, i feel we should take some time out to really say what money is.

Is money real or it's just a concept?
Is money synonymous with wealth?
Is money good or bad?
Is it a destroyer or a builder?
Does it defines a man's value or it is man that defines its value?

What exactly is this coloured paper that makes a lot of people go crazy and even turn murderers?

There are so many questions about money, who can answer them?
My fellow forumite, what is MONEY?

Money as we are taught in those days in school is,

Anything generally accepted for the transaction of goods and services is money.

Money is good because if you have it you will be happy, if not you won't be happy.

Also remember the LOVE of money is the root of all EVIL.

That is what the books have taught you. Good! How about what life has taught you?

For example you said;

I din't agree with you on that because i don't think Mrs. Ibru of Oceanic bank is happy right now with all her money. I am sure one guy down the street without money will be enjoying a better BP than her. I think without money you can still be happy.

So think deep into life and let me know what this thing called money is?
