Talkin of US employers, isn't Halliburton a US employer, we were called to write a first test at PH for a certain job position. Those who travelled from far n wide weren't compensated for their transport fares back home after the test.
A month later we were called for an interview at PH (quite few in number) and after a first test, over half were eliminated and asked to quietly leave just like that without any compensation oncemore. (transport fares).
Isn't Halliburton American? N who would believe the world's second largest oilfield service company would behave in that manner.
Schlum isn't American n has never done such, for guys who have written tests conducted by major Operators, it's not done n almost unheard of!
Why should Halliburton be an exception to it? or could it be the aftermath consequence of the tax evasion scandal that once rocked them several months back on us jobbers?
Well, we'll keep tryin n strongly believe over time our Nigerian labour resources would honestly be appreciated as is obtainable overseas where these same multinationals scout about for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates.
I understand all fingers are not equal, however we'll keep trusting in God!
To my fellow jobbers keep the struggle alive.
