Remember when u were younger and U would always say your prayers before eating?? Do U still practice that or is it History?? Or did U ever practice it??
~~As for moi, I used to all the time.I used to pray to God, Mary Magdalene, Peter, etc before eating when younger. ha-ha~~Crazy dayz. I have not done it for years.I need to start that old African tradition again.
The prayer went something like this
"God thank U for this food. Please let it nourish my body in Jesus Name.God,Mary,Joseph, etc come and join me. Amen" aww,I miss childhood.

u mustnt wait before food to thank God for provisions. Praying before eatn your food is hypocritical. u are just fulfiln all righteousness. prayer should be taken more serious. for me i dont pray before eating my meal.  |

YES I DO  For the catholics we have two basic prayers for meal. Saying "grace" before a meal can be a very good habit, not childish or hypocritical in the least. I'm ashamed to say it's been a while, but it's something that should be part of every believer. Thanking God for the little things always opens up the way for great ones.

Can't recall the last time I said the ' Bless Us Oh Lord, ' Probably over a decade ago in secondary school. Also can't stand dinning with those die hard prayer warriors who go on and on with the grace, not minding if hunger iss about to send someone to the great beyond

It is too risky not to pray before eating with all these new germs and viruses in town plus demons and co. It is also important to thank God, too many people are moving about hungry.

Its gud to pray b4 every meal. U never can tell that short prayer can be your saviour from a poisoned food. I still pray b4 meal but not all the time.
