Everyone needs to take note. Look at the names of the Anti-Ribadu people, and jot it in your memory. I have noticed that these are the same exact despotic people who move in gangs viewing anti-Nigeria/pro despot opinions. These are the Children, Sisters and Brothers, Wives and Husbands and Girlfriends of the people ruining Nigeria.

Some people are still living in darkness, those that remain doubting thomas are blind and def to understand what Ribadu advocacy stand for, however I'm happy as one of generation that's witnessing Nuhu Ribadu contribution to make change in Nigeria, despite evils dominant in this Nation i believe Ribadu will strive to achieved his aim, i stand to say is time for change and end to this evil control of Nigeria nation, with ribadu in place my sceptic on changes in Nigeria has been shelved I'm now concentrating on solidarity for the GR8 MAN. Go to www.saharareporters to read the beginning of Great Gani in Nuhu Ribadu, I'm sure you will succumb to change.
@holland
Is high time you stop this cowardliness, you have been blunt enough i think this does not make an end, your spirit should wake and take control even if you're  brainwatch, fine i may not conversant with your academic quality but since you can write you're no longer illiterate stop supporting evil even when you attributes your write up here as personal opinion this contradict what is needed now in Nigeria, change is all we need is unequivocal.

God bless you for wanting what  is good for Nigeria. Honest and hardworking Nigerians appreciate Ribadu. But remember that looters, despots, and thieves will not submit without a fight. Ribadu is a martal threat to people who belong in this category. God bless Mallam Ribadu, may he strengthen him to be able to carry the mantle of Gani (RIP).

You sound really foolish, sorry to say

All you do is go around swearing and insulting people that doesn't share your warped and moronic belief on your mallam ahlmajiri brother who is a first class law breaker. I have drawn your attention to those who care to listen about your trait of supporting anything and everything northern nigeria wether good or bad. Can you boldly show us any big corrupt politician that your brother ribadu convicted and jailed during his many years in office? None.
All he did was to head his master OBJ's politically created office to hunt and hound his master's political opponents and at the same time stole billions of nigeria's money. Why don't he stand and face the law if he is so clean? Why sneak in and then run away. Nonsense!!!

I guess RIBADU with this action has shown he is a criminal!-And the likes of Ibori are saints

He should turn himself up like a LAW abiding citizen.

So that he could  suffer the same faith as Gani .
Gani that he came to visit always turn himself up. He never run away from the law.

Ribadu has never claimed to be Gani.Neither has he said anywhere he wishes to replace Gani.Everybody has gotten his /her own style on championing the cause he/she believed in.Thank God,Gani appreciated this gentleman when he, Gani lived.

Hope u still remember the goals Gani fought hard for? If you cant vividly, may I remind you that he fought tiredlessly but consistently for but not limited to:

1.Respect for the rule of Law.IS OUR LAWS BEING WELL RESPECTED TODAY AND BY ALLl?
2.He fought so that justice could reign.AND INJUSTICE IS EVERYWHERE.
3.He fought for Human right to be respected.YET OUR RIGHT:OPENLY VIOLATED.
4.He fought so that our youths would be in schools.INSTITUTIONS ARE ALMOST PERMANENTLY CLOSED WHILE PRISON YARDS ARE PERPETUALLY WIDE OPENED
5.He fought so that Govt would be more responsible to the citizens through provision of basic infrastructures.AND THE LAST TIME I SAW LIGHT,I COULD NOT REMEMBER
6.He fought so that our ballot boxes would be  safe.AND YARADUA SAID THE SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT HIM TO POWER WAS FAULTY.and the list is endless,

If I may now ask you if you live in Nigeria, Do you have a power generating set ?Do you pump your own water ?Do you engage in community services to reapir your roads? Do you employ security services to guide you house?

If your responses are in affirmative, then you have told us that your Govt have failed you and what Gani fought for were not accomplished .You are also saying that they have only succeded in making us to lose the man whom we loved so dearly.Has it ever occur to you that Gani could have lived for more years if he has not been languishing in julags during those dark days of the miliatry juntas.Though we appreciate his style, but he could have lived at least more years for us.

If Ribadu follows the same steps taken by SAM,then, all these  ABOVE highlighted goals Gani intended to achieve will have to wait for another 30 years when Gani's grandson that is known for behaving same as him would grow up to take up the challenge.Otherwise, you  will need to wait for another 30 years to get these services in Nigeria.

Nothing but criminal runs from the LAW of the land.
Even if the law will not be followed to the letter and could sometimes use as tool for unjust prosecution
He is actually degrading Nigeria and you people are rejoicing.
It is better we rejoice this way than celebrating his death now.Guys wake up.We all know what Nigeria is up to.We cant afford to lose more of these guys.It is one country where judges are hen and where cockroaches will never witness justice. The fact that he did not sneak into the country through one of the boarders speaks volumes not of Ribadu but of an insecured and porous nation that is prone to external attack and that is insensitive  to her self and her citizenry! Chasing Ribadu degrades us the more now that is enjoying international popularity. More degrading is presenting players who tested overaged with MIR during this period of DE-branding Nigeria and thereby leaving us NAKED
Atiku(note, i don't care about him) stood his ground and went from court cases to court cases, that's strengthen Nigeria.

A politician that still have some of his loyalists at his back.He controlled a reasonable numbers of office holders. No wonder he went back to dustin of history where he belongs and his political foes said he is politically dead.Until stated in a clearer terms,Ribadu was not a politician when he headed EFCC.
Abiola stood his ground. He gave us what is JUNE 12 today even though his dead.
No wonder this period is refered to as pre democratic era and June 12 not nationally recorgnised.Abiola would have been better alive than a dead.At least for our sake.
Gani stood his ground. He gave us hope which is almost lost now.
The hope will further intensify its lost if we allow people like Ribadu to die without rallying around him and play our roles collectively to take Nigeria to the next level they denied SAM.I believe Gani wouldnt want him dead now. When Gani was alive,he never asked him to come back and face the HANGERS AND THEIR HANG MEN.
Ribadu can step into Gani's shoes the moment he respect the LAW and turn himself up.
Its not neccessary he steps into  Gani's shoes.Gani himself left a shoe too big ( an oversize ) for Ribadus of our world to wear.So let him do is in his little way and let us appreciate now that his alive not when they kill in Kuje prison and we begin to show solidarity support when he is layin- in -state at Kuje Prison
If RIBADU is HONEST, let him turn himself up to LAW and face his detractors in LAW court instead of sneaking around like common criminal he was busy chasing in his days.

Call looters, fraudsters, forgerers common criminals? May be hardened criminals u ought to have said!May be you wished that these criminals get him killed.

I think its high time we forgot who employed Ribadu and celebrate an uncommon quality and ability he displayed in fighting crime for his nation.Whether or not he fought OBJ enemies is inconsequential. He fought a good fight. We had to start somewhere. Now that Waziri is there, let her start with OBJ friends so that the equation can be balanced.
Here is a poser for all:

While on earth, did Gani of this world would have endorsed a person like Ribadu as a good son of the soil especially when he was appointed by OBJ's Administration if not proven beyond reasonable doubt that he was of good moral?, Gani was never ambiguous in making his position known. We knew where he stood and he was never knew for talking before thinking!

RIBADU, WAZIRI, the difference is clear,  Grin

Nigeria has alot of work  to do in eliminating the "MAFIAS".
Only a few men like Ribadu have shown courage in this regard and i really dont expect the state to protect him or his likes because the state is practicallty run by "POWERS IN HIGH PLACES", (hilltop, )

i join fellow patriots in praying for Ribadu and other real men who have refused to be broken in the face of the evil storm.

Waziri,, i thought women fight better and are incorruptible. why wait for Mr Sanusis to prompt you to action. Obviously she's got no game plan and was just waiting for cheap glory.

Who doesn't know ribadu was used to do the dirty jobs of OBJ? Quote from This Day Newspaper
Even though Ribadu was never declared wanted, his surprise entry and exit was still seen as an indication that the country’s security is porous.
The source also added that the federal government had been disturbed for some time now over his comments.
As at the last count, Ribadu had got official invitations and had visited Kenya, Morocco, Sudan and Liberia to share his experiences on how to fight corruption.
He had also had the privilege to address the US Congress and also worked closely with the UK security agents.
“Such rising profile is bound to cause some discomfort in Nigeria, considering the controversial manners he was exited as the anti-corruption czar in the country,” the source explained.

I think most Ribadu's fans do not know what a hero means, to them a Hero is somebody whose sole claim to Fame is media hype, like in the movies. They do not know that qualities of a hero must include courage, fairness, consistency and ability to fight for what is right no matter whose toes are stepped upon. Ribadu falls short of any of these qualities. Let me give a few examples of Past heros.

1 Chief Gani Fawehinmi, thought he has his own eccentricities (we all do), but no body can argue that he is a true Hero In all languages and definition. I cannot imagine a Gani being declared wanted and him running away, he would rather face his oppressors and die in the process. I cannot even remember Gani going on Exile under Abacha, please someone with better memory  should remind me if Gani had run away from any body or government.

2. Chief M K O Abiola, I was never a fan of Abiola, because I believed he was entrenched in the corrupt Nigerian establishment. But after winning June 12, he shown the character of a real hero, He fought and died for what he truly believed in. If he had wanted to Run away as Ribadu's supporters suggest i am sure he would have lived and even be Richer today. IBB promised to Give him any amount he required to forget the mandate and he refused. He knew his life was threatened was still bold enough to declare himself president in the open even when most of his backers chickened out.

3. General Tunde Idiagbon, He is a typical hero reminiscent of any classical Greek hero, he was out of the country when he was toppled over in a coup. The saudi Government offered him asylum as no body knew what the new helmsman IBB would do to him, his boss Buhari was already in Jail. But in a show of courage he refused asylum and wrote to IBB he is on his way home, he came home and was subsequently arrested and detained. Now that is a man with a clear conscience.

4. Fela,  I aso doubt if Fela would be declared wanted and he would rum away. I am sure the minute Fela is delared wanted, he would report immediately to the IG's office.

There a a few others like ken saro wiwa, but i gave these few examples to show Ribadu's fans what a Hero is and their hero who boasted than that he was ready to die fighting corruption is now running and hiding like s scared crow, and they are making excuses for him.

I have always said ribadu does not deserve the persecutions from the federal Government, he is far from being a Hero figure.

The following organisations recognise the work of this man

Oxford University
United States Congress
Liberian Government
United Nations
London Metropolitan Police
INTERPOL.

Those who say Ribadu is worth nothing should tell us why we should take them more seriously than the following organisations. Until then the debate is over.
