Casino Royale: Is Daniel Craig the real deal?
Sincerely speaking, i didnt see anything sexy, or romantic or sleek as the older Bonds have been. The guy was too temperamental, and exceptionally destructive, always leaving a trail. Which kind mistake is this?

Abeg the movie's the bomb diggity  . I don't want to write long story coz am kindda disembodied right now. Craig may have the too rugged look plus his looks are more suitable for a villain but i doubt the older bonds would have pulled off the new Bond. Casino Royale, brings the Bond Franchise into the new millenium (can't find a word right now). Ok this doesnt mean am like totally cool with Craig as Bond, but what can we do. Unless the box office and producers say otherwise he is staying put.

After all the yabs, i think daniel craig has proven himself. I've never enjoyed a bond movie as much as i did casino royale. The guy might not have the chic bond look, and he might be James blonde. But the dude 'd proven himself as a great actor

The tradition of a Bond character as being slightly extinguished away. Craig is more like the everyday hero we see in most action films, but doesn't possess the traits of a bond character. Casino Royale is cool.  |

Good people, Daniel Craig realy tried despite the criticism and the booos from die hard fans like myself  . And Casino Royale is a damn good movie, but the credits as someone mentioned is not solely from DC performance but can be from directing and the scripts. It is also potraying a new 21 century bond flick with all the latest screen magic, gimmicks and stunts. I miss Pierce Brosnan  , he could have equally done justice to the flick, cos he is slicker and more refined than DC , he acts bond like a second skin and up to the task without showing much machomania as DC. As far as i will be watching flicks like Casino Royale, i dont give a hoot who is behind the bond suit. Im proud to say ive been following the bond franchise since a kid and has all the bond movies in my collection. |

think my best part of the movie was that free running scene in the beginning, i ve seen something like that in french movie i saw BARRIO B -13 or somethung like that, cool stunts.
IMO he aint the best of bonds but he pulled it off

I have just finished wqatching the Casino Royale film. My best bits were the free running scenes by the Black French guy. The ending of the film wasnt properly scripted to me. Daniel Criag just appears over the guy who scammed the $40m Casino winnings and told him the franchise line, "My name is Bond, James Bond". The ending just reminded me of Nigerian films that try to prepare the way for a Part 2. There was no attempt to show whether James Bond was able to recover the money or not; also , the scene where James Bond is inside the water trying to rescue the double-agent (Bonds girl) from the cage, how come they were both under the water for the same length of time but only James Bond has a special set of lungs to make him survive under water while she dies  |

Early 60s?  Really? Didnt know he was that old, coz he's still hot! but no he wasnt dropped and no not every bond movie has gone steadily downhill since Goldeneye, Die another day make a lot of money although i guess it can be attributed to the bankability of Halle Berry.
But in the end, whether we b!tch and moan about Pierce, he ain't coming back and we are stuck with DC although its not a hardship, i love the direction the new bond is going. I heard on an entertainment show that brosnan didnt know he was dropped but he found out when daniel craig asked him a question about being bond.If that was the case that was a great Oops!
i am still not feeling Craig as a bond,the script was the great winner in the film and not craig per se

Make una stop complaining, the movie has been done and over with, shown and brought in alot of revenue, reviews by critiques have been really good and the bond franchise has been moved into the 21st century. If all the attempted and executed boycotting didnt do anything to stop the release by the production company, the grumbling and complaining now will do absolutely nothing to deterred them now more so because of the response to the film in terms of sales. Live with it, shooting of the 2nd bond movie has been into production even before the 1st was released. As for a black bond, no not vibing that one at all. Its like having a white 'Shaft' no way.

I thought Daniel Craig was steaming in the role, very different, very rugged and he could still pull off the suave, *still drooling*, anyways, according to Ian Fleming, Bond isn't supposed to be a pretty boy, Go see Layer Cake, a British film, Craig is amazing there,
And the stunts in the beginning is a French martial arts called parkour, the French film it was in is called District B13, highly entertaining film by the way, fabulous, and it wasn't stunts, the jumping was for real,

For those of you who don't like Daniel Craig, don't worry he'll soon subconsciously get immersed into your psyche and it would soon seem as if he's been Bond all his life.
Yeah, the beginning of the movie is much better than the ending. Yes, the black guy jumping through the narrow slit and Bond passes through the wall were great parts.
Also, the way he did the decoy, killed the black guy and blew up the whole place.
And, I don't think the Bond girl is not hot enough.
The movie is good but I hate the fact that the beginning is better than the end!!

Alot of things were off about this new bond. first of all bond isn't blond and i feel the guy is too big and not as attractive or charming as his predeccessors. the chase scene at the beginning was sick, luvd it. also the bond girl this time was as attractive as a stick. they shud have used the first chic that they killed off too quickly she was more sexier. the movie was not the best bond movie, lets just hope the next one steps up. |
