Mid-level Career Switch :banking To Sound Engr'ng/production

Hello friends, i am in a dilemma. Here's my story: I've been working for a bank for over 2 yrs now and with each passing day i get more & more convinced thats not what i am cut out to do. Now, i have always had a passion for music, not dat i sing or am blessed with an angelic voice. But i can tell u i hav a gift for knowing & picking a good sound when i hear one. Now dats a talent i want to develop, hence i am looking to go into sound engineering and production FULLTIME. I nid a starting point, like whr i can undergo training & stuff,  Any useful info will be appreciated
