I dont know how to explain that again, i am not a programmer.
We were talking about specific stuff, i didnt put up the site for a 'review' or for comparism My question was quite simple: Do you do the XHTML, CSS and Javascript or the strictly back end (PHP/JSP, SQL, etc)? You didn't explicitly ask for a review but you did so implicitly by posting the URL. Come on, don't tell me that you didn't expect anyone to click the link. In other words, you gave yourself the rope to hang yourself. Again, no worries, the site as you said is coming down. |

At least this sounds better than, "why are you replying me after banning me." 2) okay o 3) huh?  4) have you notified the "programmer" about the contact page? even if the site is coming down, I think the person should be aware so that a similar mistake doesn't take place on future projects. Don't have a CV so can't even give one if asked to. I highlighted certain things that will make any one understand that learning and understanding anything is just a matter of interest.

You left the company? I hope it's not based on the unworkable design you provided? In any case if I take you up on the design of that website you would weep because your work shows that you are still trying to understand the basics. Thanks for proving me right and showing everyone that though you can brag in reality you cannot do a decent design work even when working in a team and yet you have the audacity to talk about jack of all trades when this jack of all trades can do better than you even in your own area of expertise. I am looking for a good web designer that I will pay very well but where are they? Ever since some people starting bragging about design on this thread not a single one of them has been able to design a reasonable thing and yet such will be the first to run their mouths like ruptured pipes. |

Thanks. Please see responses below. 1. 'Find out more' link not working --- Points to an external link, javascript problem that makes it work on chrome but not on firefox or IE. 2. 'About us' link contains NOTHING --- Information is yet to be made available 3. 'reviews' link not working --- Same as no 1 above 4. poor choice of font --- This is subjective so I won't attempt to justify or defend 5. font display needs work: padding, justification, indentation and color. --- Same as no 5 6. 'onspeed help' link not working --- Same as no 1 7. 'forgot your password' link leads to a BLANK page with a textbox and a submit button --- To be honest, a pop up with even a small size would even do considering the usefulness of the forgot your password page. I am for functionality any day so nothing wrong with a simple task being done the way it was implemented 8. Logo is not a link that leads to the home page --- This is not compulsory as you have a Home link that is consistent across all pages. I really don't agree with what people say or do on the web, I stick with what works that is why I usually have debates with quite a number of people. So, thanks for your observations. Will definitely work on those that must be worked on like the javascript related external links stuff and maybe making the forgot link page look like the rest of the pages if time permits (but not compulsory). |
