Is the "waiting" game "old fashioned"

I am beginning to wonder why our youth no longer exercise patience any longer these days, especially when it comes to the issue of relationships. These days a guy or lady wants to get attached at all costs.  If we can exercise patience and wait till the right person comes along, I think the world will be a better place to live in.

Destiny the man, correct. Anything to make the world a better place is highly appreciated. But how long waiting do you prescribe?  Grin Grin

I think you're right.  There is a lot of pressure put on people to be attached and in a relationship.  Even I would like to be in a relationship but at the same time I appreciate that rushing into one is not the right plan so I have been "waiting" for years now.  I would rather be single than be in a crappy relationship.

Hmm, it depends on how you define waiting.

I'm almost 26 and I'm waiting for the right person to come along, but not in the sense of sitting around doing nothing.  I'm trying to establish a career and save for my future, regardless of whether I end up spending it alone or with a man.

So, I'm an advocate of waiting, but not waiting and doing nothing, if that makes sense.

The waiting game is certainly not old fashioned. I av friends that are waiting, some already married, as virgins. So it is not old fashioned. The bible is not old fashioned is it?

it really is not old fashioned, but you have to stick your boobs out a bit for someone to have look at some nice natural endownment and decide to wait no more.

waiting is not old fashioned...but u see im one of those people that believe you can still have fun, be in a relationship, and as long as both of you know its long term and for the rest of your lives, waiting a few years till marriage before indulging in any kind of sexual activity is not wrong...if one of the partners feels its wrong...then he knows the door Grin

NEVER feel as though your pressured in a relationship to do anything, esp to have sex..if u feel that way, and your not ready 4it..that guy is WRONG for u...leave Wink

having said that som people blieve practice makes perfect, or they are not about to get into somthin thats going to last the rest of their lies when they don't even know how it tastes...how pessin go cook pot soup no taste?...lol Cool

so i guess it should come down to individuals...whatever u do, do it for u and BE SAFE
