lynxnoon ,av already posted parts of d tutorial n it just wont appear on d thread so i have decided 2 upload d tutorial as a text file,till i av d oppurtunity 2 post it 4 those who cant download it,if u have any problem concernin d tutorial post it here and i will try 2 solve it.note after downloading , rename d attachment from .mp3 to .txt thanx

@Gigdigba,that was a wrong site i posted earlier(its 4 a legit garmap purchase).for your maps in jar format just log on 2 www.ceaser-web.com and click on mobymap u will see what u want there (u may have 2 purchase d full version though) |

NOTE:This garmin nigeria gps map can only be installed on symbian s60 3rd edition phone that is gps capable

Semidaraeb, go to the 3rd post on this thread and download d attached tutorial ,inside u will find d link 2 map and every other thing u need i personally tested all d links n they are workin fine but if u still need another one ,here it is www.rapidshare.com/files/203735899/Garmap_Nigeria_streetmaps.rar it's 145mb i think |

It is also worthy of note 2 know dat this garmin nigeria has turn by turn voice guidance when routing which is totally free of charge unlike nokia maps which u have 2 subscribe for.

@Orikenny I've not downloaded the text. My OM 4.2 keeps misbehaving and I'm nowhere near a PC for now. Some questions; do you need a pc to setup Garmin on your phone and the 145Mb, is that the size for just Naija?

Yes, u need a pc 2 install garmin ,and d size of d map 4 nigeria is 145mb.

Men tried out the Garmin maps and with your help i was able to complete the installation. i have got to say that this is definitely better than nokia maps and it is more accurate, thanks
