well nothing really great has come out recently but Resident Evil Extinction was a good watch.
I heard some good reviews of American Gangster starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. 3:10 to yuma also starring Russell and Christian Bale was quite good.
Comedys well there is Knocked Up which I was pretty impressed with and No reservations, romantic comedy with Cathrine Zeta Jones. I'm yet to see Superbad but I heard it was cool. Adam Sandler's recent flic I now pronounce you chuck and larry was funny too.

Others I like in no particular order:
The usual suspects, the Original Matrix, Spiderman 2, Kung Hustle and Shoalin Soccer, Batman Begins, Godfather, 28 days later , The first Saw, Gladiator, A few good men, Casino royale, the first 3 star war movies.
Movies I think suck:
Lord of the rings: just a fcuking NZ travelogue. almost 10 hours of movie and only about 3 memorable scenes. Overrated
Anything with Jet Li in it. God that guy makes more bad movies than the wayan brothers put together. (Hero was okay)
Ultraviolet, (just watched it yesterday, absolute garbage)
Matrix 2& 3
Superman Returns: The last son of Krypton is now a baby father?? bullshit. The films pacing was all over the place. Boring. and that for me is saying something as a self confessed comic geek. Singer does NOT know how to pace an action movie.

"Why i did get married." Its a black movie with the likes of Janet Jackson,, cannot remember their names now but i tell you its really meaningful. Its about love, marriage, betrayal, Deceit, hope, faith and the like. You would learn a thing or two hopefully. i did!!!!(80/20 rule). Its out in the States saw it in the cineama don't know if its still showing now. Should be in naija in no time i guess.
