has anyone seen the lake house?
this movie is arguably the best movie i've seen so far this year.
the story is beautiful. the plot is nice and the delivery is good.
the only little snag about is that the writer was tryin too hard to confuse the viewers that he confused himself in the process.

a little preview.

there's a guy (keanue reeves) and of course, a girl (sandra bullock). they both lived in a lake house at two different times and somehow, they start exchanging mails and they fall in love, but the problem was that, they were 2 years apart. the girl was living in the year 2006 and the guy was still in 2004. (how that happened?Huh i don't know). as they keep exchanging mails, they decided to meet.
lets say they were to meet 4th december 2006. that means the girl had to wait 2 months and the guy had to wait 2 years and 2 months. Grin.

was really waitin to see an explanation for the time difference but i never got one till the movie ended. only more confusion.

please, whoever has seen the lake house should please explain what the freak happened.

waiting . . . . . ,

@iice:

yeah Hero was another good one. Will be looking out to cop Fearless though.

Anyone seen Shinobi? Didn't really like it. The fight scenes/choreography had too many ojoro in it. But storyline was superb.

Ok, another's Jet Li's Unleashed. Movie's good and storyline's very meaningful but you could get bored with the dialogue in the middle.

Yeah i have seen shinobi, at first i was like is it about the game Huh lol but i feel how you feel about the movie though some fight scenes are cool.

As for lake house, not really my thing, isnt it about two different time period seeming to converge into one? not that i have watched it, i think i will save that for one of those days that am really bored out of my mind and really really have nothing else to do

@IIce. watching Amielie right now as i make this post. have to tell you. most favourite part so far is the bathroom scene after amielie deliberately poured coffee on her coworker, and so making her having to go to the bathroom Smiley Love the "earthquake" and the piercing "crescendo" that followed. Cheesy Cheesy

Heheheheh. have not finished watching it. I so far have felt nothing but sorrow for her. her adult life is still about being in a wonderland.

I am wondering if IIce was pointing a finger in my direction when she recommended that Movie. Smiley

sometimes i prefer Stillshots of some movies. Cool

@iicey and errone:

you seen Shadowless Sword? Another good Korean flick. Storyline's good, special effects cool, and errthing about it was good, though it ended both tragically and good.

Synopsis:
synopsis? go cop out the movie n see fo' yaself! 'nuff said.

Ok, now if you want something crazy and drives ya out of your mind/nuts shitless, then i recommend "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back"

believe me, you'll love and hate 'em after the movie.

Any romance movie hater in tha house? Need an outlet to poke a few in Romance Movies? Then i suggest "Date Movie" (though i believe them Wayan Brothers would've written a better script)

extracts from the movie.:

<spoof of Lord Of The Rings>

*Frodo, them Hobbits and Gandalf walk to a jewelry shop where Frodo tries pawning the Ring off, to Gandalf's disapproval*

Frodo - "how much would you take for this ring?"

Jewelry Attendant - *takes Ring, bites with teeth* 50 bucks!!

Frodo - "sh*t! 50 bucks?! That's it??" *then reluctantly pawns the Ring for 50 bucks*

Gandalf then interjects, "b-b-but, this Ring would destroy all evil!!"

Frodo and them hobbits - "arggggh, shut the fcuk up old man!!!" *they then proceed to beat the sh.t out of him, with Frodo kicking him in the balls*

Gandalf - <in Gollum's voice> "My Precious!!!!"

'nuff said.

There's "Hostel". Also "Texas Chainsaw Massacre". Heard they were gon' do a part2 or sum'thn. "Saw" series are also the sh*t. Silent Hill wuz also good. "Dawn of the Dead" was what it is: gory. eitherways, it was entertaining.

Tale Of Two Sisters
Audition(definitely look into this)
Ichi The Killer

Seriously the Japanese are great at horror. not senseless ones that they have here either

You can also look for the original "Black Christmas" or Session 9, although the latter is psychological horror.
