some nigerians can be so blinded by religion that they fail to realise that integrity, discipline and good governance are the major ingredients needed to solve our economic problems.

And the pharisees and Scribes went up to Him, meaning to test Him, and asked: "Is it right to pay taxes to Ceaser??"  Cheesy Dear Poster, I dont know exactly what you expect the Pastor to say, but I daresay it is wise, if you are very influential, not to be vocally reactive, especially with issues bordering on litigations. I am sure if he had spoken out, it will be his statement that will be undergoing a random critique here.

"Render to Ceasar what is Ceasars" I'm sure you can add value with the contributions of various stakeholders on national issues while Pastor Adeboye concentrates on his spiritual assignments.

Except if you are suggesting he must answer for the issues affecting any member of RCCG!

Even if ibru is a member of rccg, does the poster mean d baba should now go and condemn her or beg the government on her behalf in d press Huh

Too quiet on what ground? is he a politician or will he go to the street and start flogging all these irresponsible act of our so called politician? Pls he is a man of his own and a man of God let him go on as he is doing and have his peace of mind. Quiet or talking is not the answer to Nigeria problem the nation political arena has failed the populace if even Baba Adeboye started talking belief me they wont listen infact they will even go after him so all we need is to come back to the basis and make a mend if not too late and left Baba Adeboye out of this.

God would surely reward you abundantly ofr the above write-ups, if that man opens his mouth to talk, imagine the different interpretations, both right, wrong and indifference meaning.

Make una leaving am alone and for your information, he would never talk because politics is not his forte but of things in heaven" for what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lost his soul"

Let somebody shout the loudest hallelujah

Pls lets urge Baba Adeboye to use the same OUT SPOKEN method he used in advising Nigerians to always pay their TAXES in that "AD" to speak to the LOOTERS.

Of what benefit(s) will it be to him to watch as the taxes he advised to pay is wasted and sees it and keep MUTE.

How can you expect the man to speak against his benefactors,.

Obasanjo and most looters of this country are his bosom pals that he travels on air to meet at Aso rock.

I have seen people call TB Joshua, Rev King and Oyakhilome names on this forum yet this guys dont even hobnob with the thieving pilitical class like Adeboye does

i really dont see what him speaking will achieve, because at the end of the day cecilia ibru though a high profile member,is just like ny other member, and i can bet you if you go to her seat next sunday, its already occupied, as long as the record of the man's sermons has been against people stealing its now left for cecilia ibru and any other church member to exercise their free will and make their own decisions, pastor adeboye will not force you to serve GOD,he ll only deliver the message and its up to you, if you like invite him to sleep on your bed,or eat in your house or pose for photos with you,if you are a sinner, you r only deceiving yourself

I will not rest or relent until all my worldly possessions and offspring have been sold to raise funds for the fuelling Big Daddy Eunuch's luxury jet, and once that righteous objective has been attained, I aspire for nothing more than to be one with Jesus, via a car accident during one of those 24-hour traffic lockdowns caused monthly on the Lagos to Ibadan Expressway by the massed vehicles of Eunuch's faithful.

Then, and only then will I know that my place on the right side of God will be truly guaranteed, and, before you ask, I DON'T CARE if there are no virgins in heaven, for I will be content witha few back issues of Playboy Magazine

One thing about Nigerian pastors/imams i dont get is they're not that active in changing Nigeria positively.
I dont get it look at America- Martin luther king, rev Jesse jackson, Rev al sharpton, Malcom x, Louis farrakhan, Elijah muhammad.

The in ones Nigeria- imams always call for religious riots and the pastors never stand up for whats right or against whats wrong.

Nigerian pastors and imams are part of the reason Nigeria is like that.

Baba Adeboye might not be a politician but he and other pastors are obligated by the bible to guide their flock to the right path. Also openly speak out against the corrupt politicians, instead of harboring them in the church FOR MONEY.

Just a thought!

Elijah rebuked Ahab and Jezebel because God asked him to do so. That was why the same God also gave him (Elijah) protection and provision when Ahab and Jezebel were after his life.

One of the characteristics of a good leader is the ability to listen to his followers (or people). In spiritual leadership it's not so. A good spiritual leader is one that listens to the voice of God and not those of men. If Pastor Adeboye speaks because we want him to speak, he would be on his own before God. Meanwhile, if he speaks because God has asked him to do so, he would get the full backing of Divinity and the host of Heavens. Hence he would prefer to be quiet and do otherwise only when his Master (God Almighty) instructs him to say something.

Every true man of God would listen to God and not man. King Saul listened to the voice of man (instead of God's) and it cost him his destiny as the King of Israel (1Samuel 15:24). God bless Nigeria and us all!
