Honey Moon In Ghana - Need Advice!
« on: September 18, 2009, 10:36 AM »

Good people of Nairaland,

I want to have my honey moon in Ghana (if possible). For those who have been to Ghana.

Can u give me an idea of what the cost might be for 1 week. Good hotel (2-3 star), meal, general enjoyment, etc.

Where can I catch the best fun, just stay in Accra or other states (specify),
You can recommend some nice hotels.

Thank you guys

Great decision - Accra is great.From the Airport you can have the list of hotels and make a choice.

Accra is a place for tourists - Ghana genrally - loads of places for fun, loads of attractions - and if you can travel - go to Cape Coast and see the slave castle - its reminiscent of the slave trade era- you may shed a few tears anyway.

Generally Accra is easy, fun, safe, and people friendly. All the best.

Thanks Ajara. Cape Coast sounds like a good idea. How far is it? what will it cost me?

I also want to know what the cost will be like so I wont make a full (dont worry, I know) of my self, u know.

Hey - Cape Coast is only two hours on the bus from Accra - and mind you - they are nice, air conditioned buses - not the rickety ones we travel with in Nigeria. And you dont have to worry about any speeding and reckless drivers- they value their lives over there. As per cost - it is less than 1000 naira.

Nice one man. You've played an important part in this trip of mine. God will chart your own course too.

@Janykute

About 100k for my wife & I, excluding flights. You can keep it lower or higher depending on your pocket
