Opening Gt-bank Domiciliary Account Either With Current Or Saving Accounts?
« on: September 19, 2009, 11:08 PM »

         Good Evening,
There was few young average students who are Forex traders with '70% knowledge' came to me for an advice, so i really need you guys help in order to give them the right directions where necessary.
They came to telling me that they want to open Gt-bank Domiciliary Account in order to be easy for them to withdraw their earnings (Net Profits) and at present they do have Saving accounts with Gt-bank, Recently i learnt from a source that one need a current account before opening Domiciliary Account, unfortunately they doesn't want to open current account as at this time. I would like to know if its incontrovertible or not to opening Domiciliary Account either with Saving or Current accounts at GT-bank.

I don't think they can open the dorm account without a current account, because if they are allowed to open a dorm account, they would still be required to have 2 references who currently maintain a current or dorm account in any bank in Nigeria.
dorm accounts just like current accounts require references, unlike savings that doesn't require such Wink
