Well. I use a foreign web hosting company based in US. for a year now. they're very reliable.
with 1 main account, you can host multiple websites.

I will only say you do your research well before using any host.

You may also want to try lagoshost as it has one of the best support staff.

afan nnaji, i find your post very educative, i would really like to meet with you cos i have been carrying out research in having your own webhost business, the truth is this foreign based webhost really give suberb webhost and other interesting features, i have been using one for 3years now and they are very reliable, but i would want to have mine and offer all they offered me with same price, like unlimited bandwidth,unlimited email accounts etc

It's not only stupid but laughable to say that foreign host are not reliable. I don't know whexpect to get why people will pay $3 for a hosting service and expect to get top notch service.

Now, as regards running a regular web hosting business in Nigeria I won't advice that since no single ISP is reliable regardless of their claims. By reliable I mean 99% not even 99.99% and the customer service support of even the most popular ISPs don't measure up.

If I can get a reliable ISP I will run a successful web hosting business here in Nigeria and throw in a full 30 days inverter backup system to guarantee steady power supply.
