As if body hugs are not enough for them to parade the boobs, na V-neck, spaghetti and co now. Anyway girls, if you must wear go for the one that is meant for your boob size. All you flat slippers, go get boob job if you want to display, if we are immitating the westerners, lets do it all the way. Meanwhile, its not their culture, it's the wannabes (wannabe celebrities) that do it. Average oyibo girl is well cultured and don't display their boob like that (jogego take note).

However, entertainment mustn't cease.

If double dating is wrong, then lets permit lookery. Roll Eyes
If a girl can't come and tell a guy, 'I like you'. she can as well flash her asset (body language). Wink
If they wont discuss sex openly(abomination), displaying the instrument is allowed.Shocked

The bottom line is that we're not being truthful to ourselves.

Stop pretending

Nice topic! Indecent dressing is almost a norm in Nigeria now and alot of efforts has been put to stop it but the harder we try, the harder we fail! I see ladies that expose their body -breast, waist as indiscipline, immoral, immodest and weak.... as a matter of fact, they are of low self esteem and exposing their body to cover up.. it is a really pathetic and anytime i see such ladies i feel for them. you can imagine interviewing them and all they have to say is FASHION. Is fashion about exposing one's 'valuables'Huh??

We have more pressing issues to address in this country like the anti-graft war for example, 'area boys' and 'agberos' armed robbery, the list is endless, so guys let the sisters be okay afterall they aint hurt nobody.

Pinky, justdman lives in the UK, while you live in Nigeria, so he is in a better position to tell you what white girls wear or do not wear.  And I think he's right; white ladies dress quite modestly (they cover up more than our average women, partly because of the weather).

Try watching the audience in any American TV show someday, for example, the Ophrah Winfrey Show.  Their musicians and artists spend a lot on cosmetic surgery and dress provocatively, because they believe that 'sex appeal' is very important for success in showbiz.

Dont know aout your neck o the woods, but I know what I see on a daily basis and if it aint boobs, then I don't know what to say.

@ Seun, they might not dress indecently during winter but summer is another thing. The sun hardly comes out before they start uncovering their body all over the place.

I'm forced to contribute as follows:

The British weather is beknown for it's unpredictability. It's four seasons in a day. As I write, it's so cold people are sporting jackets but should the sun make the mistake of peeping, peeping been the operative word, between the clouds in the next few hours, all the people I can see from my office window right now favoring jackets will gladly rush back home, where they can, to change into as skimpy clothes as is barely legal.

White, black, asian (in fairness more the first 2 than the third) seem to have a common dress code here... as bare as you dare. It's so common guys no longer seem to notice unless maybe well,.... the babe is outrightly naked. oh sorry, sun bathing as they call it. Grin

Could you guys give me a space in this matter!  I don't care to know who flaunts or conceals her large or sickly dual protuberances.  Lets move over to the crux of the matter, the heart of the solution to this craziness, breast overtures.
Ladies, do you know that in spite of the alluring site of your breasts, guys still have an intact sense of modesty and decency?  A guy may tell you those 'things' are sparkling luscious, but the truth is morals and tradition tells us a lady's waterloo is nearby.  Virtually no guy is ready to marry a 'breast flaunter'.  Guys can fondle your breasts in their minds' eye for the momentary sensual pleasure, but you remain a disgrace based on logicality and societal values.

Na wa for this topic o!

I have no problem with cleavage showing personally.

Cleavage can be shown in a tasteful way and can be shown in a trashy way.

If someone decides to show a lot of cleavage, then that is her choice as long as she is comfortable with any comments/looks she gets based on the society she is in.

I remember my first summer in Jand when all the babes were nearly naked, I ran into 3 lampposts just becuse of lookery!

Nowadays I hardly notice them!

Ra, who do they want to be like? To tell what british culture is like, check out the royal family- that's pure british culture. Unless you're a wannabe, too. If you read a recent survey conducted, average uk teenage girl wants to be like Jordan.

My dear, if that statement in bold print was meant for me, then you're way out of line. I was simply saying how people dress from where I'm standing NOT the way I dress. My profession for one does not allow that. Anyways, just wanted to clarify that. One question though, if you had a girlfriend and she dresses like the Royal Family, I'm not sure you'll be very happy with that now, would you?.

nice pinky, think i'm on your side. There r nice boobs & irritating boobs. But don't think i'll like it if more than half of the boobs is now being exposed all in the name of showing off some cleavages. hmmm...bt it's really good to dress decently.

What is this "indecent" dressing you speak of? I really don't understand why you Nigerians get all worked up over such things. There's a lot more in life to worry about. Anyone is free to dress the way s/he wants. You don't have to impose your beliefs or morals or the way you think things should be on others by force. If you can't stand looking at people dressed "indecently", then look away. You weren't forced to look in that direction in the first place Smiley

In short, stop whining!

What does the oyinbo girl want to expose? An average white chic does not have a nice shape due to fat belly and chunks of fat on/beside their waist, then flat ass. In short, I've only "gbadun"ed a few white girls' shape jare. Since the topic is boobs sha, they can flaunt their boobs, they gat that one.

all that above is rubbish!

the only thing that they struggle with is ass, 90% of them have a fat one true true, but in all other areas they match our sisters.

and even nowadays that big ass is now popular even among whites, come see some of the white assess, the gym is doing good business with the Gluts machine!

Before if a white girl had a nice big round ass, she would cover it out of shame, so that you only see the flat ones but now the few with big assess are now flaunting it!

That was exactly what i thought. It's just because Nigerians ain't used to it. Over here, it's like a "normal" mode of dressing, you don't look a woman less or more. Y'all are the same because everyone is dressing that way. I guess it's because Nigeria is just developing and the women are just exploding. Y'all men will get used to it soon. And other women that thing is wrong, (wait till you join the crew)  Tongue.
