Landers pls help me out with this;

I want to apply for philosophy as a course but i dont know what it is all about.
am an art student who offered eng/lang, math, econs, govt, lit-in eng, bio, irk, yor, agric in my o`level examination.
 
I need information on what the course is all about and the careers under it.
I will appreciate your valuable information and excellent job.

philosophy happens to be the best course on any university campus, forget the rumours.
you have fun, learn, and get enlightened.

I'm currently studying Philosophy in University of Uyo. just like you, i had some misconceptions about the course b4 i started but now, I'm glad its what i went for. what you are feeling could be described by Francis Bacon as "idols" -  misconceptions that distort knowledge. so open up your mind and embrace the course with open arms.
note: philosophy, just like any other course on campus is not difficult, neither is it easy. it all depends on your level of seriousness as a student
