I want to apply for philosophy as a course but i dont know what it is all about. am an art student who offered eng/lang, math, econs, govt, lit-in eng, bio, irk, yor, agric in my o`level examination. @ post I'm currently studying Philosophy in University of Uyo. just like you, i had some misconceptions about the course b4 i started but now, I'm glad its what i went for. what you are feeling could be described by Francis Bacon as "idols" - misconceptions that distort knowledge. so open up your mind and embrace the course with open arms. note: philosophy, just like any other course on campus is not difficult, neither is it easy. it all depends on your level of seriousness as a student
