Uk Visa Application(letter Of Admmission:akolawole +vor Rest)
« on: December 10, 2006, 04:45 PM »

Guys i was recently denied a uk student visa, this made me to defer the admmision to january 2007 session,my school resumes on january 15th 2007.
now my problem is this: my propose university in uksent me a new deferment letter which after my perusal i noticed has some problems(my student reference no was not correct),this precipitated me to request for a new letter, unfortunately i am yet to received the new admmission letter and time is not virtually on my side again, though the correct letter was also sent electronically to me(scanned),
my problem is this: i don't know if the uk consular will accept the scanned copy from me,though i intend to attach the former letter of admmission(original) with this letter that was sent to me electronically, while noting that all other documents am submitting are all original copies, please consultant in the house i need to find out if this arrangement will work
many thanks

try and get the original letter. should not take more than 7days if your proposed school sends it via post to your postal address <not your home address>. why did u wait for so long  before rectifying all the faults. don't worry, u will meet up with the time limit , but seriously, if the school is resuming in january, u shuld have your visa by now or at least , submitted your appllication. visiting visas take about two weeks, student visas, take longer,  and with the xmas and new year hols,  my dear, you have to be prayerful o ! if u have any more questions, do not hesitate to ask.

best of luck !

As an insider, I can advise you that if you are re-submitting a new Student Visa applicationĀ  you should make sure that there is ample time before the course starts or else the ECO at the BHC will have good reason to refuse it again . You should not use a fire brigade approach, there is nothing wrong in applying for the September 2007 session now instead of the January 2007 session. Some visa applications require commonsense instead of wsted prayers.

You can also check at www.immigrationboards.com and read other peoples experiences, also there are lots of Immigration consultants there to answer your queries in csae you get stuck in the process
