If you are more concerned about the color, you can go for a pastel green or a green that is in the same softness as the current blue one. that new one you showed us is too sharp/loud and it will take longer for the eyes to get accustomed to it.  this shade or similar would be better ^ but i do agree that the blue should be changed to green. it's nairaland after all. lol |

@seun .y cant u create a virtual enviroment/test environment for us to access and compare? U cant get a concise response as to whether its better than the current one or not.may be u should Create another url that can be accessible over d internet and will redirect everyone to the new page so that we can dump our comments there and after d comments,it will automatically close.
My 5cents sha .some1 else might have a better idea
