Hi folks, I think the idea is definitely awesome. The colour tone, on the other hand, is rather too high. I believe we should be looking at a theme with subtler colours(most successful int'l websites use subtle colour combination. We might not even restrict ourselves to a single theme. Perhaps we could have a colour theme for each naira note colour. Also please don't forget perpetual phone  browsers like me. We generally view smaller screens so a less clustered homepage would be wonderful. Great idea! Keep it up!

No one wants change.
The average man is conservative to change. Lets try and see what the new homepage will look like.

Much worse.
Those buttons are too big.
Too much of the top is taken up.
Why not arrange the buttons on the side verically like MSNBC.COM or the new Yahoo but without the flyouts.
The right side can be used for adverts then.

Seun, the current one is much better.

About suggestions, how about adding some new flavours to nairaland? Smiley

What I mean is something like facebook; each member would have his/her personal profile where he can upload pictures, tag other members (most especially the females) Smiley share intimate conversations, and many other exotic features.

How about that? Smiley

I don't like this new make up,  I pretty much like it the way it is,   Smiley but the green looks good. @seun Have you thought about changing the forum from SMF to Vbulletin?
